People who are content with their life may say that they're happy where they live, whereas people unhappy with their life may respond negatively as to whether they like or not where they live.

Thus, making this question a matter of inner perception, rather than of outer perception; this also has to do with what does people do with what they have. Thus, they may be as miserable in another country if they do not posess enough money, and may be as happy in their home country provided that they have enough money to live up to their own demands.

There is but only one true metric through which we can guide ourselves to measuring whether a country is "bad" or "not". That is, opportunities. The amount of opportunities to grow in a country may be related to the amount of people who may fullfil their goals/dreams.

My country has very limited opportunities. Thus, I believe life in this country is miserable. In that sense, I do not enjoy life in my country.

I'm having that same trouble user. I'm really not sure if what I'm feeling is just a phase or I really have that need to leave this place and start again somewhere else and make my own path. I don't hate it here, it is good actually, it just that I don't feel quite in place here.
Anyway you're not the only one with these doubts mate, hang in there, you'll find your way. Do you have a plan for that big change you want to do?

I came back here during my last year in high school, and various personal reasons will make it difficult to travel back there.
Besides, I’m currently studying in my uni. I could look into traveling back to the UK for work, but if I do that instead of taking the job I’m guaranteed once I graduate, my parents will think I abandoned them.
