Wandered around a bit. looks like a very cozy town. I see you have an arcade there. Are there still arcade games in there? I miss those places. they are all gone from Norway.
Austin Taylor
it's not a game arcade, it's just a type of building. In gawler's case it's basically just a wide hallway with some cafes connecting main street to the grocery shops on the other side.
haha! you even have a Shwarma place there! Did not know arabs went to SA. Are the kebab any good?
Caleb Smith
>Did not know arabs went to SA
We have the largest Arabic diaspora in the world (or used to, it's probably Europe now). Yes, it's good.
Jeremiah Barnes
by "we", I mean Brazil dunno about other SA contries
Jordan Thomas
They were christians tired of Ottoman Empire. So It was not hard to adapt to Brazil
Bentley Gonzalez
Yes, I did. And it was a horrible horrible high school, it was actually closed down.
Jordan Jackson
as you might guess i live in a boomer nest
Jordan Kelly
how come most of first world countries don't have frontyard fences
this is unbelievable how beautiful the views get if there are no fences around
Samuel White
This was a few blocks down the street. What a wierd and random concept. Flip and west african food? Thats like starting a restaurant with British and Spanish cuisine.
the town is what you would call 'diverse' as there are a bunch of different immigrants from different countries. if you keep looking youll probably find more foreign cuisine resteraunts
i honestly dont know how that came about. my best guess would be that the owners are a married couple one being fillipino and the other being west african. Im not sure if the dishes are combined as i would have to eat there to find out.
Don't you guys have a identity crisis due to this multiculturalism? Especially non-whites
Wyatt Bell
Holy shit nice
Ryan Robinson
we do but there is still american culture in that town left. east coast style seafood is big and everyone flies an american flag in the residential areas.
if I were an absolute ruler of a country I'd ban all fences in the frontyards and all apartment buildings in the suburbs.
Living in a detached/semi-detached/terraced house should be a human right.
Alexander Parker
Curitiba?
Zachary Taylor
Please go eat there and make a thread. This really intrigued me.
Isaac Hall
To be honest these numbers are exaggerated. Brazilians that have Lebanese great-great-grandfather are counted as "Arab" even though it is already totally disconnected from Arab World
Samuel Butler
ill see if they have a website and look if their prices are low enough and maybe i could eat there
Julian Lopez
I have a low wooden fence outside my house to keep the dog from running away. Why do you have tall fences?
Hunter Reyes
Yes.
maybe it has autism?
thank you.
it's a capy yes. They roam in this area. there are lots of them here.
Something like 1 month ago I was talking to an american and he was white, of belgian, english and dutch ancestry. He talked to me he had no problem with being american but he would like to have just "one ancestry" like being full belgian or full english. Is this a normal behavior there?
Levi Young
The only mistake commies did was that they built commieblocks instead of houses
If they'd been building at least semi-detached houses with fenceless frontyards, everyone would've loved communism.
Anthony James
im mostly english ancestry so i cant say for myself but most people here either dont care about ancestry but the ones that do sound like the the amerimutt meme
lizards that just hang out in your house are cool as shit. i visited my uncle in florida as a child and was obsessed with these little lizards that ran up and down the trees.
Ayden Cook
They seem prehistoric, also post shower head.
Ryan Gutierrez
Commieblocks are easy to build and more cheaper. Detached houses requires more area and it means more grocery store to area, more school because distance grows or more car to people. Commies didn't have money to built stuff like this and also seperate houses means people are not close to each other and they can be invidual. This is not what commies wanted. They want everyone to be together in one area and be controlled easily.
Jaxson Russell
>Do you live in an apartment? Nope, I live in one of those white houses >Mine The humidity makes it look really weat lol. It looks clean and calm so nice
That shit used to be a barber but it got demolished and they built a condo house there instead. If you go the the street to the right on the screen you can see it.
Luis Long
>This is not what commies wanted. They want everyone to be together in one area and be controlled easily.
Yeah, I understand, that's why communism must have collapsed.
But any political party that promises to build semi-detached houses for cheap would get a lot of votes
Evan Diaz
The sign says its a nail and hair salon

do the animals from the reserve ever leave the reserve and tresspass other places? I grew up in a house near a nature trail and the animals from the trail ( deers and turkeys) would move from the park where they ate food through my backyard back to the trail. While the deers werent that annoying besides the occasional car collision with one while they cross the street, the turkeys would do their gobbling sounds early in the morning and wake everyone up. Sometimes the turkeys even came with their babies and while the babies were cute the turkeys would become super aggressive.
Austin Bell
yeah, they're cool specially cuz they get rid of insects.
my house is heated by gas so you're not going to see what you expect (or what I think you expected - those electric showers).
At least you can get to tram faster in cold weather.
Camden Taylor
>Ahh I though i saw the shadow of one of those electric ones. How do convert to webm so fast, btw?
I have a series of commands ready @ command prompt which I activate with macros. I convert lots of webms by command lines so I'm used to it and can do it quite fast nowadays. Pic related. Neckbeard level over 9000
Sometimes the capybaras get run over when they run into a major street that cuts through the reserve (massive planning failure btw). There used to be an alligator residing there but I think they removed him from the ponds. He'd usually be seen walking around but never really attacked anyone from what I know.
Other than that sometimes these very tiny simians escape and appear at someone's house. I'm not sure if they can be called "monkeys", they're really small and of a greyish color and look cuter than regular "monkeys". Me, @ my house, I mostly just get screeching weird looking birds and house geckos. We do have some fierce looking hawks though.
Looks nice. Close to the black sea. Nice temperatures.
Ethan Brooks
I always get a bit shook when i see american flags being raised since its illegal to do so here outside of certain dates. We have to fly these instead.
Very pretty! 10/10 cozy. Looks like a mix between a slovenian and mediterranean village
Wyatt Hughes
its illegal to raise flags there? thats so odd. here people fly flags everywhere, some houses here actually have full size flag poles to fly them.
James Hughes
I've seen them doing it yes. There are spots to have picnic at the reserve and open-air barbecue spots. They sometimes jump in, grab something and leave.
Also, one of them jumped on my mother's head once, I think he was being followed by a "carcará" (pic related - they're birds of prey). These can get quite big, they're cunts.
