I think that they are however pretty much indistinguishable from the Irish. Certainly phenotypically, or visually, you probably would not be able to tell the difference between an Irishman and an Englishman who grew up in Ireland. I think you could maybe tell between an Irish and Frenchman or German and certainly anyone farther
