Being NEET is not enough. Being NEET is just a case of being stagnant and lazy, in most cases. They'll say it's "Fuck the system", but if they wanted to "fuck the system", they'd take the illegalism pill.

Most NEETS are just poor genetics combined with lack of effort (which is genetics, I guess) and they are pretty pathetic through and through.

Neets seem to just exist. They have all the time in the world, but no money or motivation to enjoy it. I'm sure exceptions exist, and I'm genuinely glad for them, but most seem deeply unhappy.

I'm a NEET and my day consists of trading and reading. Fitness is for when I can make a passive income and can leave the computer alone more. NEET is basically just being unemployed, not in formal training or education. Doesn't mean every NEET doesn't do anything.

I have a job now but i don't hang out with anyone, on days off i stay inside as much as possible

My parents ignored me, I became a NEET because I was way ahead of school and came to the conclusion pretty quick that nothing matters. Why would I rush in some 9-5 rat race for something I don't even care about?

I've been homeless and always managed myself to get back again, largely by the absence of action.

If you're unhappy as a neet going to work for 8 hours a day isn't going to change much. Polite pleasantries with whoever is there and some more money isn't going to make you're off time more enjoyable, and the vast majority of the time acts as a detriment.

Dude, you can fit a gym routine in your life. It only takes 1 hour max and you don't have to do it everyday, perhaps 3 days a week min. Working out would be better for stress relief from trading all day

im 32 and still living like a NEET, worked until I was 26 or so (manual labor mostly) and then inherited a large amount from my grandparents. Have enough where I can live comfy middle class for the rest of my life, inherited a small home as well so no mortgage/rent just property tax. Been living like a NEET for about 6 years straight, still not bored of it. I stay active though, go to gym 5-6 days a week, spend a decent amount of time with friends, etc. but during the day when normal people are at work, I'm free to chill at home, watch movies, fuck around online, whatever.

Although I will say that I sometimes feel that desire to build or create something, or that I'm not "living up to my potential" even though for most people that just means making enough money to basically have what I currently have. I may start enrolling in random uni classes for pleasure, or dabble in small business, but for now I'm still fairly content

Im not joking. Im neet. but i like to pursue new things and crypto seems like a new area of knowledge to me.
Im 31 and no job, still live with parent s but they are rich, i still continue my education albiet independently(youtube and reading) and i have a certification. I do things, like publish and sell apps on google for a dollar, but none of them have gave me much except for crypto. Parents gave me 30k to invest along with what i saved from past jobs, But i made the mistake of buying in at 15.5k and didnt sell when it hit 17k last week of jan. So im holding that and a few alts hoping this shit will blow past ath next year. If that happens i would have made more that what i would have made working wage jobs in those years.
Pros: i can do anything i want and im happy that i still have a drive to do things.
Cons: friends, if i call them that, hate me. They boast about doing "work", leave me out of their gatherings, all together fucking despise my lifestyle probably because im also not white, all around shit situation with them. For the past 10 years i dealt with their shit and only stuck by because fomo and no social life. I got shit on for the smallest infractions by them so i have pstd when meeting new people. When i did have a job people gave me shit before and after knowing i had rich parents. Wished i had mingled and fit in with all the other rich kids at my school but i didnt look the part, was mostly a misfit. I also havent been laid in like 8 years, so i crave attention and thirsty as fuck. I also become bitter seeing friends posting pictures of going out and generally living life. But compared to them, i actually have taken initiatives to doing new things like publishing apps and other skills while they are stuck just consuming and working. Just wish i can get a decent piece of ass every now and then so i can focus on other shit and not feel as sour or unappreciative for the smaller things in life.

I would love to get a real job but nobody is willing to hire me. My mom is also fighting breast cancer and needs constant care so it's convenient that im home all the time. Ive tried it and it went bad real quick. but my parents are breaking down, mid 60s, back problems and exhausted. They straight up said that theyre going to need me more than ever which is understandable: for yard work, for keeping things working and eventually their own care.
Frankly its just me and them two. I can move out but i can also renovate part of the house as my own.
