Do you have a background in IT? I have nearly 15k and Im reading 20k is the ideal amount for a node but I have know IT or computer coding experience.

It has gotten so big partially due to the fact that ether was big. Chainlink is an erc 20 token and will never be anywhere near as big as ether as it's a token that runs on the ethereum blockchain

The token transactions do, but ChainLink can run on any blockchain. They could easily move the token to their own blockchain, but why would they need to?
