Whats your opinion on Masari?
Is it worth to invest half a Bitcoin?
Looks like the price is at the bottom.
Whats your opinion on Masari?

One of the pools literally has over 50% of the hashrate.

Solid tech, known lead developer, great community although a little light on marketing.
Great buy imho
Cool coin, worth to invest half a bitcoin? maybe a fourth
miners must change pools, its not the operators or teams fault. Decentralization begins with you the individual and the individual decisionmaking.

I love the positivity of /biz!
to be honest, I'm a large hodler of monero and these guys are trying to pay me to use their coin, since i technically have coins from the fork...but I'm not going to ever touch them.
MSR is a code fork not a chain fork.
Very bad LARP / Fud
The fuck are you on about "I have coins from the fork". Not every fork is a continuation from the previous chain.
In fact, this is exactly why MSR is unique, it is a new chain, and it has had homogenous RingCT from the beginning, meaning very technically it's more private than Monero, since no outputs from the past can be analysed like can be in Monero. This is semantic, but true.
a lot of FUD going on here.
now I just need to figure out if this is a good sign or a bad sign.
Nah you are just a gay poser. It is a code fork not a chain fork you squid. That means you must buy or mine MSR like every other guy too.
depends on how sure you are they'll solve the uncle mining problem
If you're sure then you might as well drop the full BTC in
If you can explain to me in simple words what uncle mining is.
it's something from ETH mining
miners can get rewards for finding the next block around the same time as the one that found the block first instead of being thrown to the streets (orphaned)
so the valid block is one with the most validation (uncles) behind it, not the one with the one that found the block in the first place (dads)
