imho thats wrong thinking. the "latest" bubble run was 2017

will go back to mean. 4.8 - 6k might already hit bottom.

How is 4.8k-6k defined as the mean? It would likely be more in the direction of 2-3k but thats my opinion. How do you define the mean?

You can be right, but why do you short the market right now? It's a matter of time before we bounce and go up for a couple of weeks, everything is pointing towards a bottom atm. Buy high, sell low --> short low, long high new meta?

He hasn't really answered it but okay, I'm not really a stats guy but $8,500 seems wrong? Also you can only calculate with past prices, but this is price we're talking about, its more an emotional value than anything statistical or probable. What I mean to say is, great you looked back and added some figures into a statistic but that doesn't include future prices and as 2018 isn't over the whole probablity of 8500 is weak.
