Poland was destroyed in 90% during war, and sold by the USA and UK to soviets after 1945 in result of which we were deprived of 45 years of accumulation of capital which impoverished us to african level. Why weren't Jews so keen to demand property from us shortly after war when Poland was a pile of ruins and they woke up about this 70 years later when Poles rebuilt whole country form ashes and began to live good for the first time since centuries? The property restitution is in fact in full swing in Poland for any person regardless of citizenship, race or religion. The catch is: you have to be an actual next-of-kin to person who left a property and you have to prove that fact in court. I am not personally dealing with such cases (not being a real estate lawyer), but there are scores of people living off just of servicing such clients, many of whom happen to be members of the tribe. Moreover, most claim of American citizens are paid off, because according to a 1960s agreement with the America, the US government assumed all it's citizens' claim for lost property in return for a hefty lump sum.

According to the best of my knowledge, the demands are actually insane. They would require Poland to pay off to literally everyone *claiming* to be an heir, which everyone knows would made everyone jumping on the wagon and claiming to me descendants of some Jews that once lived in Poland for a payoff. Moreover, at least some of the demands also want that Poland transfers some heir-less properties to Jewish organisations, even though they have fuck nothing to do with people who actually owned them.

If the property is still owned by the state or municipality, you get it returned. If it's now owned by private persons, you get money enough to buy another property. This is in fact the civilized way, same as in many other countries.
