humidity I don't know but it's definitely very hot here. do not expect to wear more than 1 layer unless your classroom or lecture room is cold. I would recommend NUS. And workload isn't too bad just don't party or go clubbing too much.

Yes, dorm was provided at a subsidized rate (fan room in Utown for about S$500/m), living costs were manageable, food was cheap. I had parental support and was freelance coding on the side. Internship opportunities were a plenty if you won some competitions or hackathons, or just showed up to some corporate showcase event.
I'm not Malaysian, but Latvian. Just traveling here.
