I've lived with my cousins in America and life there is peaceful, lovely, yes, but melancholy.

In most first world countries once you passed a certain threshold, that usually is being homeless, you are marked.
You are banned from society, you are caught in a downward spiral and chances you will get back on track are abysmally low.

The cops here are very corrupt and bad people too, it isnt rare. If you are black or hispanic the police do everything they can to screw you. Also i was driving home one night, and one of my headlights died on the way and a cop pulled me over, and gave me an $80 ticket.
