I was at school. Had no idea what the world trade center was

I was 3 years old and was in a hospital because I was coughing really bad
The consulting room had a tv so my mom watched the whole thing

I actually unironically remembering hearing about 9/11 (I was 7-8 ish?). We were driving to school with my dad and he was listening to the radio and was talking to him but he snapped at me and told me he was listening to the radio.

I remember not really understanding what the big deal was? I mean people died on the otherside of the world all the time. Its interesting how as a kid I was more logical, now if I heard that same piece it would probably have a greater effect, but the point is still no different.

You're the same age as me. I remember getting up that morning and my mum was watching the news. I didn't really know what happened. At school there were lots of kids absent and the teacher got us to write down what we thought had happened.

Have a similar story. My woodworks teachers husband apparently worked there when they lived there but he didn't start work until 9 or 10 so he dodged that bullet.

I remember since it took a couple of hours for the other to fall down i thought it was pretty boring.

Schoolyear just started, was denied access to kindergarten because I was born in summer so I had preschool for a second time. Teacher announced what had happened. At the dinner table my sister asked if this was world war 3
