Denmark and Sweden are night and day politically. The phrase "Swedish conditions" is used prejoratively in Danish as a shorthand for PC culture. E.g. gender neutral bathrooms, affirmative action.
Conversely, Denmark was held up as a cautionary tale in the Swedish general election; a demonstration of what would happen to the self-described humanitarian superpower if they let right-wing populism get even the slightest bit of political influence in their country.
