How is that different from the government-funded minimum wage increase these yellow vests rioted for? Also, what's do you mean by "real jobs". Even the jobs you're talking about at least mean the immigrants in question are more productive than they would be just sitting at home. People want the standard of living that the working class had (for a little while) during the time periods in each nation where the rich had either been taxed 70+%, (1936-1980 America, Britain during the golden age of the EITC) or had just risen up and killed all the rich people and redistributed the wealth, lands and solidified control of the government, corporate class, clergy and other organizations (French Revolution, Russian Revolution, Italy and Turkey at different points in history).

Its about standard of living. The low and working class are going to get their nice houses, decent living wage, lack of debt, disposable income and so on back, WITHOUT having to invest in order to do it, which requires the very kind of capital that business owners are refusing to hand out.

Its going to have to happen the same way its always happened. Through violence or political upheaval. Because the rich will never recognize that the American Dream, or your country's equivalent, is something that anyone who works for a living DESERVES in a world where half of the people don't even fucking work.
