My cousin is Chinese but grew up in England. It's interesting listening to her speak because of her English accent when she comes visits.
It's like watching a female version of me speak in a weird language that I can somehow understand.

My father remarried a woman who is half Panamanian. She is really nice as are all thier family but I cannot stand more than a week with them until cultural differences drive me up a wall

Yeah a got a bunch of Danish, Norwegian, and American grandparents, great aunts and uncles, and (second?) cousins.
They’re pretty cool desu, the Danes all seem to have a hard on for Canada, BC specifically, they say they like the mountains.

He moved to New York in his twenties and has lived most of his life there now, has a family and all.
He visits Finland maybe once a year or two, and you can tell he's not really a Finn anymore even though he speaks the language and looks like one because of the way he acts. He talks and smiles like an American and it feels pretty weird, plus because he left so long ago his vocabulary and dialect sound really old.
A nice man otherwise, just a bit uncomfortable to be around.
