Hey guys, I'm from Jow ForumsEthTrader and I've been doing research on ChainLink. Wanted to post here because a lot of the resources/discussions happened to be archived on this board (it was readily available on Google).
I did a fair bit of reading for a few hours, and I was wondering what the team is currently up to—I understand that there is a pivotal tracker, but there aren't any overall deadlines, and I can't seem to find any anywhere else. I did notice the testnet has been launched, so is the mainnet going to release this year? Is the best time to buy in now, or should I wait?
Not going to disclose anything about my portfolio, but based on the crazy potential of this token, I wouldn't mind investing a significant amount while the market is still recovering. Thanks in advance.
Most think mainnet will launch this year, most think in the fall in September, some think sooner. Best time to buy is know without a doubt, right before mainnet, once any of the rumored partnerships are confirmed then price will go up.

Salesforce, Microsoft (Cryptlets) and IC3 companies are high profile clients and there are proofs of cooperation and active business relationships between smartcontract.com team and them, but still unconfirmed. mainnet is not far away, they've already had a version written in ruby for years. they were able to do a POC with some major banks. They've been writing the real thing in Go and so I'm pretty sure it wont be more than 4 months till mainnet.
keep in mind we're also pretty much at the bottom of the bear market by any objective measure.
