Well to be fair, British English and American English aren't much different at all either. Far more similar than any two Mandarin dialects.

problem is that there's really no unified canadian or american english accent, so while some of us sound american some others sound completely alien to americans

vocabulary and spelling wise canadian english is basically a free-for-all, both british and american spellings and terminology are widely accepted (though usually one wins out over another, more often the american variant) while in the states if you spell colour properly you'll get looked at funny, or if you're british you spell realise as realize people will also look at you funny

a lot of the words that american and canadian english share have to do with stuff like trade and transport, which is why we use truck instead of lorry or trunk instead of boot

I haven't been to Baltimore, and I've only heard short examples of the local accent in videos, but it sounds... okay to me. Strange, and definitely unique, but I think it actually sounds cool in a way.

In an American accent it would sound like "go", but in a strong Canadian accent, it would sound like "gå".

I speak several languages, but I guess you're interested in Russian. The worst two accents are:
1) the way Dagestanis and Chechens speak. I really hate how Chechens pronounce "v", they can't do it at all, instead they say "w".
2)Ryazanian dialect with their straight "o". TOGO. Like Poles they speak.
