Normalfags can't read 小学生 in the first place. For all they know she's a perfectly legal little girl with Anki condoms hanging out her pantsu

>normalfag barrier
a cute image appreciated by anons
you give normalfags too much space in your brain; they are irrelevant and should be ignored

Do scanlators have an aversion to dictionaries?

Yes, scanlating an entire dictionary is the worst possible project a scanlator could decide to pick up.

>少年は首を横に振った。
>男の人「そっか。 悪いね、呼び止めちゃって」
>それから、軽く手を振って別れた。
>少年は順路の先へと歩いていく。
possibly strange question, but who is the subject of 手を振って別れた?

Both of them.

that clears things, thank you.
this probably should've been obvious to me, given how 先へと歩いていく was said immediately after.

It might be only the boy as well, it’s not explicitly indicated anyway. But as the way of the guy talks is really friendly, it seems that it implies both of them.
However, it’s unnatural to regard it meaning the guy is the only person who waves his hand, as obviously the boy is the protagonist of the story so that the narration should be focused on him.

the perspective at that point was the 男の人 (describing them like that was confusing, huh?). the story changed perspectives quite often so I don't think there's a protagonist.

Reading the line inside of the red box, it was written “Koshimizu Sachiko, the cutest idol of the world, is my waifu.”.
The names were blurred because it is an excerpt of a real document (it seems a graduation proceedings of a high school) so as not to violate the privacy of people mentioned there.

>the perspective at that point was the 男の人
なんてことだ..
In that case, it could be even that the guy was the only person who waved his hand, as the boy seems very introvert so that he wouldn’t pay much attention to strangers and it’s the guy who first talked to him.. (and he seems matured enough to show kindness to a stranger boy)
>the story changed perspectives quite often so I don't think there's a protagonist.
Think it’s “both of them”!! Don’t think too much!!

It's from a garbage Source engine FPS where nothing makes sense and everything is wasted potential that makes you wonder how good this game could have actually been if it wasn't so shit.

I can read at about N3 level but I can't even do N5 listening. Is there anything I can do or do I just give up.

Listen more
Or give up, it's your choice

Listen more?
Seriously what kind of answer do you expect

no need to differentiate between n5 and n3, it's all just one big blur of dekinai at this stage

I can listen at N1 level but can only read at N3.

Watch more anime.

Alright I'll fuck off then. I've got nothing to drink and there's a ringing sound in my ear.

Then why the fuck do you even learn, illiterate

>below n5
Nah you don't even know what N5 level is.

So ugly, keep that trash in your basement

oh fuck me janny we in there. has anyone seen Galaxy of Terror? A woman gets raped by a giant worm and dies from orgasming. The producer Roger Corman wasn't happy with how the shoot was going so he stepped in to direct the scene himself.

Attached: galaxy-of-terror.jpg (1440x750, 134K)

I'm so bad I'm not even n5. There's a pretty obscure horror movie I watched called Bad Dreams. This girl was cute but of course she died first.

Does someone know where I can pirate Japanese books? Specifically western ones translated into Japanese?
I'm looking for works from Joe Abercrombie, but he doesn't even seem to have a Japanese Wikipedia page, so maybe his books aren't translated.

There's no way to watch anime with Japanese subtitles is there? therefore anime is useless.

Attached: giphy.gif (450x242, 3.99M)

Why do people always want western authors Japanese translation? I absolutely don't get it. For me the whole purpose of learning this language is to be able to read Japanese material in the language it was written in.

Attached: 1546776997163.jpg (1920x1080, 262K)

Fuck off retard

I don't get it either. Translations of stories are always a terrible idea.

is there still a german called gk here?
i wanna ask some question about Jow Forums Jow Forums 1 year or 2 ago.
i guess he tried to run some pole down back then, so that is about the question.
i found some post probably made by him.

Share/PD is probably your best bet. You can try the usual sources of #bookz and b-ok.org but they're probably pretty bad for japanese stuff.

Is への always 'for'?

I want to learn Japanese, and reading Japanese helps me get there. The purpose of learning it is to understand native material like eroge. In the meantime, while not playing eroge, I might as well read something else I enjoy a lot in Japanese. It certainly won't hurt me more than reading it in English will, with respect to getting better at Japanese.

Do you not know how the reply function works, you impotent sped?

It's like trying to understand a muffled recording of someone with down syndrome playing in fast forward.

I watched simpsons in japanese and it was actually amazing how much the tone was shifted, the show felt a lot more friendly and less mean spirited to me, you know what I mean? or maybe I'm a weeabo

It seems you mean usages like "あなたへの言葉".
But there are some other usages which are quite debatable if they are to be simply translated as "for", like
>東京への旅立ち (The departure toward Tokyo?)
>4ちゃんへの誘い (invitation to waste land?)
Anyway, it's a combination of particles "へ" and "の" and modifies following nouns appending "towards something", it seems.

You can use 'for' in all of those, it just uses the rarer travel related meaning and people would rather use more common words instead (to, toward)

Some choice freaks in this video. No wonder they all sounds like fuckwits.

Attached: Capture.png (1053x628, 1.24M)

I just come up with "of to something" as a makeshift translation of "への". however if you say so, it'd be so..

放射線への恐怖 : fear "of" radiation
平和への道 : road "to" peace
国家への反逆 : rebellion "against" the state
金銭への執着 : obsession "with" money
人類への攻撃 : attack "on" humans

Why did you choose it?

It was one of the many shoujo mangas in my backlog. Picked at random.

No matter how much I improve at different things theres still some Katakana words where I am completely lost.
