Are we there yet? As I was predicting two weeks ago, the coin is going slightly upwards and no amount of fag FUD is going to change that.
Besides the fact that skycoin is riding the decentralized internet trend + it's really good at it, there's no stopping blockchain 3.0 Bonus: the whales won't dump, they know the pottential of the community and that of the hardware sales.
All i see is street shitting and all i smell is curry, sorry.
Sebastian Parker
Move along, fag. No point in arguing
Julian Ramirez
Then you should change your home
Brody Nguyen
decentralization is a big trend lately, it's not rocket science to understand the need for it, some had a very good intuition and followed this lead from the start. Sky managed to ride it. many must do research on it right now to borrow the good practices for their own projects
Gabriel Collins
Who bets with me that in update #3 we will have the hardware wallet ready?
Caleb Gray
Let me get back to the last point: while the miner was a product for hardcore supporters of the decentralized net, the plug and play series (yes, there will be more than one product) are addressing a larger portion of the community. While providing a top of the class service with unique features, skycoin has secured the hardware market for that service. This could mean upgrades, premium software version s, New generations of hardware, tech support and so on, all making a solid base for the new internet while supporting the project through consistency in sales
Brayden Smith
>decentralized internet >it's really good at it Who told you that? All i see is a simple token with some absurd expectations and no real development going on. All they did since their appearance on the market is writing some shitty piece of code which routes some data between raspberrys pi ethernet port and then someone has to MANUALLY pay you for that, when you could have a fucking automated blockchain for that. Miners existed since 2009 but the skycoin didn't relized yet
Nathan Powell
It's already done, they just don't wanna overwhelm us with all the goodies at once
Jonathan Murphy
Still haven't paid testnet rewards....
Connor Miller
skycoin more like floorcoin
Lincoln Edwards
This project has a guy named pnd working for it. He literally named himself pump and dump. Let go skybros.
Christopher Lopez
TV exist since 1928, is the same what you have in your house? No, no we have smart TVs. Is there a difference? Oh yes... it is my friend. Same here, miners may exist but it is the same as the Skyminer. Again, no, it is not. Skycoin distributed consensus algorithm, Obelisk, or web of trust style consensus prevents the development of centralized power. Decisions are made through community consensus, not based on the wishes of a few majority stakeholders. Now, tell me, what else has something like that?
Luke Powell
That's just your limited mind that can't see through. You are missing the bigger picture. This is a large scale project not some overnight bs. Your reductionist perpective will lower your chances to make the most out of this opportunity. Reconsider it and if you need any help in identifying the reasons why you should get involved, ring a bell
Jayden Martinez
Carefully explore github Install skywire Do some reading on Obelisk&verify that it works Check skywug for all other developments Come back for more posting
Luke Hall
so you guys are still buying this despite the dev being a nut who made up a story about getting robbed by his development team
the state of crypto
Cameron Miller
Sick my cock synth
Gavin Barnes
Stable at $7 since last week. Comback feels good already. I truly want it to succeed
Kevin Anderson
synth is too much for u. but is good to have haters like u, means he's doing his job well
Nathaniel Clark
i don't suppose you hired private detectives or have an inside connection in the Chinese police dept responsible with the case
Matthew Ortiz
You won't make it
Hudson Gomez
>Taking getting paid for granted. >Muh magical decentralized automated blockchain. You expect to get paid for nothing. People like you deserve to be forced into producing value while not getting paid at all. Miners get paid automatically but all they produce is consensus. Not saying consensus is worthless, but if its so expensive you pay everything for consensus, there is nothing left for applications built on top. Miners also become centralized and manipulate the network for their personal gain. Skycoin is developing a cheap consensus algorithm based on the idea that consensus is reward enough for achieving it. >Skycoin has no blockchain. I change my mind, people like you deserve to participate in the efforts being made by Mexican drug cartels to achieve consensus.
Jackson Russell
As if it s not that 98.9% of the companies that you 're dealing with are selling you overpriced shit whether it s food services or goods. At leas this project is getting somewhere. Ofc the miners are overfuckin priced. It s a free economy, if you don't like it then don't buy
Joshua Bailey
Mug get fuckd. Miners are the backbone of the new internet and they deliver actual bandwidth
Carter Edwards
Yes, making investments, maintaining hardware, consuming power and delivering bandwidth to users is nothing
Jacob Kelly
Complete circle. Not only it s a good business model, it s also less vulnerable
Julian Miller
They should start selling bandwidth and promote the dapps. Have not seen any move in that direction, makes me a bit worried
William Lopez
Imagine the fuders in two years time, using skywire with tears in their eyes
Bentley Butler
unlike other projects Skywire actually has the physical infrastructure to provide resources, coin hours will have utility within a closed loop Skycoin economy - Fibre, Kittycash - making it more likely that the Skycoin tokens retain their value
Mason Walker
Slow down and read for comprehension. The main goal of Skycoin is to make POW/POS obsolete. Skywire is a major application for Skycoin. (Fiber being another.) It will drive adoption by providing something of great economic value. Skyminers are used for building real bandwidth and network resources, not for consensus.
unfortunately i dont think it will be done for awhile..all they have is a hardware prototype. the software isnt done and they arent mass producing anything yet. >soon >soon >soon 96 SKY better be worth something someday, because synth has been talking about millionaire skyminer owners and $10k a month rewards for the past year
you all forgot this project is still in a testing phase. i'm so amazed to see the amount of energy you all invest in it there is a high level of demand from it everyone wants it to happen fast fast fast This is a great Achievement: having a project in a testing phase and everyone to be vexed because it's not already commonly used. Congrats Skycoin, i'm impressed
William Hernandez
I've got an official miner and had it running for a week now no problems, the proxy works fine. I'm just hoping that 1gb/s speed actually happens
Christian Bailey
I love the amount of salt sky haters pour all over the table in skycoin threads. it blows my mind. why do you guys spend any time at all trying to convince people to NOT buy a certain coin? move the fuck along and go post in a fucking link thread.
paid FUD is quite annoying not to mention they shape opinions, this is getting serious
Charles Rivera
if things go slower than expected this doesnt mean they re not working...
Juan Jones
serious activity, no bullshit. this means lots of work, look at the contributors figures
Caleb Price
Economics are not for everyone, can't expect them to understand the benefits of having some hardware on the side
Jack Ramirez
have an econ degree. can confirm. the world is full of idiots. this is a good project. of course, im one of the idiots...i have a worthless econ degree
Landon Hernandez
Plenty of time to build miners and reap profits taking advantage of the modo ISP
Jason Gray
So this is not a good business model in your opinion?
Alexander Peterson
no. i was completely serious. i love this project. dont read too much into it fren
Mason Moore
There is no consensus protocol There was no kidnapping There is no truth
>There is no truth Checked, and u got that right, comrad redditor. There is no blockchain There is no community There are no developers There is no code on Github There are no real Skyminers There are no projects using Fiber There was no UN presentation with Brunhuber There is no history prior to 2017 There are no partnerships There are no more listings coming There is no future for mankind
Luis Lee
Good eye, we can definitely choose a more appropriate word to use there.
Robert Powell
Is Obelisk actually proprietary? If so that's an absolute dealbreaker.
No, its not proprietary. The sentence was apparently supposed to suggest that Obelisk is something new and exciting. Obviously a mistake, proprietary finds itself in the same sentence as free from "centralization and manipulation".
Josiah Gray
no, it's appropriate. "obelisk" is closed source and proprietary, as Brendan owns 70% of the sky, can freeze anyone's account, and has central control over it.
Kayden Turner
He doesn't. He asked Binance to freeze wallets on the exchange.
Jose Murphy
GET IN HERE! youtube.com/watch?v=ntsB2uWYMpY He is now actually calling himself the CEO of Skycoin and he is telling the truth about the insider trading SELL SELL SELL
To continue, There is no 300TPS There is no more J. Zhang There is no hack There is no txn freedom
Connor Jackson
90% of all Skycoin is undistributed. All undistributed Skycoin is owned by the Skycoin foundation. Being a proper foundation, the Skycoin foundation has no shareholders and is entirely self owned.
