If you had to live in the HRE, where would you want to live?
If you had to live in the HRE, where would you want to live?
Genoa
Rhineland. Or
>Implying I would ever want to live in naziland.
I wish the Red Army finished the job.
Old Kaliningrad
You would get raped by Russians, Poles, Lithuanians, Belarusians, Ukrainians, Swedes, Finns, Norwegians, Danes and Germans.
What a way to live your life.
Netherlands was probably the best place to live.
Prussia wasn't part of the HRE
it's why Brandenburg took over the name when it became a kingdom
to be outside the authority of the (Austrian) emperor
Nürnberg or Basel
Are you telling me that Europa Universalis 4 is incorrect?
Not in HRE.
It was even more complicated. Prussia was de iure part of Poland even though Brandenburg-Prussia got its independence in 1650s. So, the title of Hohenzollern monarchs was King IN Prussia, rather than King OF Prussia. The little of Duke of Prussia was claimed by Polish Kings.
I'm from Franche-Comté
Bohemia.
I didn't know Paradox bordergore existed in the medieval ages.
>Nürnberg
Good answer.
That's not middle ages
Marburg
Off by 200 years.
?
Middle Ages was THE time of border gore.
EU4 never has the Teutonic Order (and Prussia if Brandenburg is around) in the HRE.
Swabia. In Tubingen
Meh, not that much outside of
>H
>R
>E
yep
pretty confusing
so when the kingdom of Prussia was established in 1701 it was de iure independent of the HRE but de iure dependent on Poland, while an elector of the HRE (Augustus of Saxony) was king of Poland
hehe
I don't get the joke
Marburg because I studied there, otherwise Wien
how did you like it here?
I had a good time
You fucking german lover.
If I rose to power in the USA, nazis like you would be exterminated.
nice
Looks like medieval Krakow.
Depends on which point in time.
holstein with my nordic brothers and preparing the pagan reformation.
Austria obviously, preferably Vienna
Yeah
u-ulm!! LOOOOOOOOOOOL!
no its correct. the teutonic order is outside the hre. first step as teutonic order is to get inside.
some comfy free city, that doesnt have serfdom.
hre was a special case but if we include dynastic rule all of europe was. feudalism is one hell of a drug remember the fucking habsburg controlled spain.
In the Free City of Zürich. I'd love to have the HRE back, nothing beats rebellion against the Crown and plundering the Klettgau with impunity!
On a comfy island in the Wadden Sea of course.
Pre 30 years war Pfalz
>fucking habsburg
The Habsburg is nice. It is Swiss now for over 600 years. We felt a bit bad that we took their ancestral home and homelands, so we turned it into a Schnitzel restaurant, to honor them. Now people can go there, enjoy the beautiful view over the Aargau, eat Schnitzel and then take a hearty shit at the Habsburg.
Zürichfags were imperial lapdogs...only the OG cantons are cool
Rudolf Stüssi was a Chad though
My home's not too bad but I guess if I can choose, maybe a nearby village that has really nice views from atop a hill, I have distant relatives there anyway.
not in HRE
Lubeck. I dont know shit about germany, but i always played the hansa in eu3
heligoland
>Rudolf Stüssi
Did you know that before they killed him, they did cut strips from his belly fat and used them to polish their shoes.
I would like to live in Lübeck and live a rich merchant life.
But not any merchant life, a merchant life away form the chaos that is the Mediterranean sea at the time.
Lübeck had tons of war witht eh Danes, the Swedes, French pirates, England, whatever. Plus Lübeck was famous for hazing their newly merchant recruits. Other than that, capital choice.
If you ever do a Germany tour, make sure to visit the eastern Hanse towns of Wismar, Stralsund and Greifswald, unbombed old towns like that are rare in Germany.
fpbp
Lubeck, Bremen or Hamburg
>Greifswald
Apart from the kino gothic artitecture, that place is also home to that one kraut fusion project, right?
Choose well if you do not want to be killed or raped by some swedish/french soldier.
Greifswald also has the Wendelstein n nuclear fusion reactor. Its the largest stellerator design nuclear fusion reactor. dont know if they give tours but if they do and you are there its worth a visit.
Easy, Switzerland. It's very peaceful and nice and the French pay you well to kill and rape Germans.
I see it is.
Because of my
job
i will probably end up in north Germany sometime in the future so i will give it a visit.
Any moderately sized town in Italy, where the standards of living were considerably higher than the rest. With the possible exception of the Low Countries.
