Why does the rest of the world get mad at America for making things convenient?

I just think it's not really necessary and results in wasted plastic and boxes. Most fruits have natural ways of protect themselves

take a fruit, peel, chop it and put in a box, and see for how long it remains fresh and appealing
meanwhile those fruits in your picture can stay on shelves for many days

Pots of fruit aren't bad in my book. They're good when you're at work, you can't exactly cut up a mango or a melon at your desk can you.

You do go quite far with the 'convenience' aspect though, stuff like peeled and chopped carrots is just baffling to me, it takes about 30 seconds to do one yourself

they are refrigerated too

i dig this'

rest of the world here, i could care less

Disgusting

What a dumb meme, I prefer the shoes in the fridge one.

Useless plastic waste and taste blend compared to fresh cut fruits
0/10

Look America, I made this.

I buy cut up watermelon like that in summer, why would this be considered an american thing? Americans don't eat fruit anyway

do you guys have cut up avodados or peeled oranges?

I bet those fruits tastes like a plastic by themselves.

I tried once mangoes, tasted like water and paid 2 euros for this shit

Even through Europe has better gmo-free stock than America anyways.

You made this? More like the Swedish slaves made this. Swedes love to peel bananas for other countries you know.

That's because exotic fruit is brought from far away so to make it last through the trip, it's picked when it's still green and never matures properly

Your "convenience" is turning the world into a plastic wasteland

Literally nothing wrong with this as long as you recycle the packaging. Don't listen to jealous thirdies, based shartbro.

As far as I know some fruits can ripen even after being harvested, but it doesn't change the fact that most of fruits on op-pic actually tastes like water.

>Eurofats
All the nutrients are in the peel.

They're harvested early and they spend most of the time under artificial light, there's no way you'll get anything tasting proper that way

I first saw it in Tesco and bought one. It was quite expensive. But I think it is cool, because you get multiple fruits in a single package.

That's what I'm talking about, a chemically-grown vegetables and fruits can only be considered any good if you can't allow a natural one, in which Europe yet have a lead.

Have you not ever cultivated tomatoes in russia?

Tomatos and bananas ripen from ethylene. They also emit some ethylene themselves. That's why your babushka cover tomatoes with the daily gazeta and puts them in a warm place.

>your babushka cover tomatoes with the daily gazeta
She doesn't. She puts them on the window sill, like in the picture I posted.

Then tell her she should.

She won't listen. She thinks they need the sun. Also, don't fix what's not broken.
