It's not that bad. I think that this place has improved a lot over the years. My street is not as dangerous as it used to, I got new parks and plazas in places that used to be places to be wastelands. Crime rate,murder rate and poverty are decreasing and things like wages, gdp per capita and "wealth" are increasing.

I consider myself middle lower class because I do have internet access, I have a tv and a ps3 wich I don't used but would most likely upgrade to a ps4 if wanted to with no further complications. I do have enough money to vacation, in fact I go with my family to southern Chile or Argentina every 3 or 4 years. My parents have a relatively modern car, wich they bought brand new in 2012 and it's a 2011 model. We have enough money to attend a medical emergency and my parents make about 12k together. I study a STEM degree for free, paying for it would be impossible so I'd most likely have to get a credit and pay it after I graduate with interest(many people do that).
The most important thing imho is things you can't buy, like living in a somewhat clean place, knowing that you won't get robbed, stabbed or raped, having a good transport infrastructure, etc. And I think that in that aspect, despite being a poorfag I can get a decent share of that
