The Mons lived in the Chaopraya and Irrawady river valleys. Many mon kingdoms live Dvaravati. Eventually subsumed by Burmese and Thai migrants from the north. (our culture is based on Mon civilization)
The last Mon kingdom existed as recently as 1757 (Hanthawaddy) before it was totally overrun by Burmese lol
