the issue with people using society is that it is their method to vent non-physical frustration
the society describes something communal, yet the individual attribute it as a thing that is suppose to solve their ideological problems, this is an inherently contradictory stance and it is symptomatic of the issues that plagues the society, namely the passing of responsibility

take the comic for example, you are suppose to feel something about it and make some comparison between the two men in the picture, however these are completely diffrent issues with completely different premise that should not be compared together and the first reaction people have isn't how wrong that angalogy is but how irresponsible the "society" has become by erasing any individual responsibility to some holistic non-existence of some group hierarchy

society is only a passive instrument to define things, it cannot actively "do" anything, it is the nation state or the policy makers or just some random organization that does things, society cannot and should not be used as a stand-in for passing responsibility, this is a logical trap, no matter how instinctive it seems
