No, a small area is easier to organize. There is no such thing as regional politics or regional differences in economics in your country while we have to deal with a multitude of variations within our country. No single issue is the same at any place and there is big variations from east to west and north to south.

That said, we are rich but not really successful in the same manner as Germans. We have been unable to expand our people, the first sign of a true civilization.
