I'm Chinese btw and yes I'm ethnocentric. Yes we control the universities, women, and politics in Canada.
What do you think of the international relations between China and Africa?

Bad to say the least
but it's even worse to think about since the govs never care about its semi-colonies
It's all public happyness and propanda at first. It's the exact same thing which Europe did in Africa in the past. Lots of people are just too naive. What would be the benefit of China doing all this, if they wouldn't get anything back? Long term goal is gaining well received influence by building houses and infrastructure, but the actual goal is to get some resources and political influence. It's just how it is. Nobody throws money around them.
Africans will use China to kick us out of Africa, only to regret it when they lose sovereignty of their new chinese made infrastructure because the Chinese conned them into paying for it with loans they can't actually pay
>loans they can't actually pay
it seems like the chinese will lose a lot of money then
The interest is the infrastructure and resources.
They wont, because the lines written in verdana 9 at the bottom of contract says that if the country can't pay for it, China takes control of the infrastructure for one century or whatever.
whatever, africans will nationalize them
Neo-colonialism of a sort. Give loans (not aid) for infrastructure often to benefit extracting resources to be used in China. When countries inevitably can't pay loans well you can look at Sri Lankas port. The African leadership either is too ignorant or doesnt give a shit about what will happen in the future. Also they are ricing black women.
China doesn't do predatory loans
Didnt happen in Sri Lanka.
Also, as Venezuela proves nationalizing shit can fuck you.
If they do not make the mistakes of the europeans and invest to turn the africians into consumers of chinese goods then both will prosper.
>China doesn't do predatory loans
ROFL
whatever, chinese will cannibalize them. That's a good thing too.
China is going to develop Ethiopia, despite western powers whinings.
They are literally mad because China doesn't condition cooperation with political reforms.

I never heard anybody being mad about it. Most people just watch and look how it develops. China wouldn't do shit, if they wouldn't gain anything from it. It's the same with Germany's and China's trade relations, which are the biggest in Europe.
It can either backfire for Africans or it can backfire for Chinese.
>I never heard anybody being mad about it
France literally a few days ago.

>La conditionnalité pour ces prêts n’est pas la même. Avec le FMI, ce sont des réformes structurelles, des coupes dans les dépenses de l’Etat. La Chine, en revanche, donne l’impression qu’il y a moins de contreparties
>Conditionality for these loans is not the same. With the IMF, it is structural reforms, cuts in state spending. China, on the other hand, gives the impression that there are fewer counterparts
No one has complained. The ethiopians however may regret these "kind" loans down the road.
They build things but they are litteraly buying us we are trapped
>Yes we contror women
ahahahahahahahahahahahahah
