Ireland is Nordic
Lads, do Irish unis care about p2p/piracy in accommodation?
Ive heard about Americans getting blackmail letters from corporations and the IT department getting people expelled
on the other hand, eastern Europeans tell me no one gives a fuck there.
Are we a middle ground or do we bow to American copyright?
I lived on campus for a year and regularly pirated, using both the the 3rd party wifi service Eduroam and the ethernet connection on-site. Must say that I never got into any trouble
I think it has more to do with if its some popular music or tv series, thats when the uni can get copyright notice letters and might go after you for it.
Anime and the like are grand I suppose, as long as p2p traffic isnt blocked to begin with
I have pirated so much over an American university wifi. You have to remember that out of 320 million people, if it only happens a handful of times, US media will still spread it like wildfire
Saw a woman in a full face veil with her kids yesterday, isis cunts
bet you the feminists who were screeching about repealing the 8th wouldnt repeal veils

Why is this general so slow? Not enough Irish anons? By the way, how many of you can speak the Irish language?

anyone ever played a vr game?
Can't say I have
I got Playstation VR a while ago, it was really cool at first but it just didn't work very well a lot of the time, at least for my eyes. Eventually traded it in to buy something else.
What are the plans for the weekend?
>pirating on Eduroam
Ballsy.
Yeah, I think you're right. From what I've read, popular media IP holders will have contractors download and seed torrents of their content, because apparently that's the easiest way to catch pirates in the swarm. But that's time and resource intensive, hence why it's only pursued by the big media companies. There are other ways to be caught, but I'm not too familiar with those.
>Why is this general so slow?
Surprisingly large proportion of the general's regulars seem to have jobs. It usually gets busier after 6.
>wank
>cúm
>regret wank and my unconquerable lust
>listen to pavarotti and move my hand like a melancholy maestro
anyone else?
That's some quality Catholic shame you've got going on there. Very impressive.
>wake up
>not a unionist anymore
What happened lads you put something in the air?
>first we steal their boats
>then we steal their anons
All the pieces are falling into place.
Steal their boats?
Yea
We're taking Donegal as recompense
Blasket isles kinda look like Japan....
Making poppy seed tea. Did anyone else know you can get fucked up on a fivers worth of poppy seeds from a polish shop?
Yes, VRChat and Beat Saber. Fucking love beating my saber.
Are you one of those guys who's obsessed with Japan?
>Fucking love beating my saber
But when are they getting a Pokémon region?
>green saber
You using mods?
i'll ship you and every other anime poster and jap loving retard
>pokemon region based on where nobody lives
what'd it be green?
few know this
I did not. What's it like?
Do you not pay attention to the news?
Further confirmation that anime is quintessentially Irish.
No. I don't like hearing the constant scaremongering and abuse of our Nigerian-Irish community so I largely ignore it.
The Norf's Remember the Maine equivalent
They'll be harping on about this for years to come.
It was not in the news in my country
You're in our country now though.

>“These heavy-handed tactics with our fishing vessels demonstrate that Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney are entirely focused on Ireland and are fair weather friends to Northern Ireland,” he [DUP deputy leader Nigel Dodds] said.
DUP are giving out that the Southern government is focusing on the interests of the South instead of the whole island? Fascinating
Tastes awful, but the high is nice. Like a shitty heroin buzz.
new star trek episode is absolute shite
>watching Soy Trek
I think the point is that the UK allows Irish vessels to fish in loyal Ulster's waters but disloyal rest of Ireland won't let us fish down there.
eh, there's nothing else going on
Say something nice about your Queen.
I don't think there was any ill-intent to be fair. Our end of the deal became illegal when it was successfully challenged in the courts. The government immediately attempted to rectify this with legislation, but it got bogged down in the Oireachtas, primarily due to challenges by politicians representing Irish fishing communities.
>>pokemon region based on where nobody lives
>what'd it be green?
Gives them more to work with. :D
Based!
Too late now kiddo, Hms belfast has been reactivated and its coming for you.
based and redpilled
time to build a navy to outmatch the US navy and blow the brits out of the waters
Idea for a new naval project of which the state's full resources should be focused on: don't bother building our own, just hijack the Brits' Trident submarines and become a better North Korea
>HMS Belfast
Will post-Brexit Britain even have the money required to maintain a navy?
Submarines are underhanded and not befitting of an upstanding nation at arms. We should just ask the yanks if we can borrow their Iowas.
like that mission in MW2 crossed with the one from MW3
submarines have the potential to be effective
In wargames a Swedish sub managed to sink the US navy's top tier carrier by itself.
Just found out that what I'd call metal, others would call hard rock. Not a fan of how definitions of genres can change in such ways over time.
>the US navy's top tier carrier by itself.
The US navy has 10/11 supercarriers at any one time, so there's rarely a singular top tier carrier. Except for at the moment, when it's pic related.
Tell me about Tipperary lads
It's a long way
>The US navy has 10/11 supercarriers at any one time, so there's rarely a singular top tier carrier
I said top tier, not top.
They run multiple classes of carriers, and the one was at the time their top supercarrier class, not just any rinky dink light carrier.
What do you guys reckon to the rumours she will be representing you guys at Eurovision?
What were you calling metal? Some early stuff can be classified fairly as either or as proto-metal.
youtube.com
Watch this, and read the comments. It will tell you everything you need to know. Very insular, odd people.
Just an audio sample that sounded very heavy metal to me but was referred to as hard rock
Me and my mum have put together enough to man HMS Belfast and that's all we'll need to beat Dublin.
Lel whats with the Kilkenny rivalry
IMO (as a musical illiterate) a good guideline for distinguishing metal and hard-rock/proto metal is distortion, speed, and complexity.
A lot of people say Black Sabbath is metal but I wouldn't classify them that way at all. More "hard rock" from the 70s psychadelic tradition.
Do you have a link to the clip you heard?
>you wake up in Larne
prefer white sabbath me
Do NOT talk shit about Larne
*People's Republic of Larne
Doesn't sound very Larnian
Thoughts?
Meh, at least it ain't violent up there anymore
Nowhere near as pretty as pic related
Are you from there? Was watching the Larne v Coleraine match on telly and the crowd seemed very Protestant, to the point where I'd be on edge if I was there. Good match though
>how many of you can speak the Irish language
None because Ireland is completely cucked.
>slagposting
Please cease at once. This isn't /brit/.
Neighboring county that are also quite good at hurling. Hurling rivalries are very passionate.
>larne
>protestant
Imagine my shock
Nah I'm about 10 miles away in a far more important and beautiful town.
If I was slagposting I'd have posted a picture of your mum
