early Pelevin was a goldmine for 15 year old me. Sorokin is comfy as fuck too.
really good modern writers are rare, but it's worth the effort of finding them

Not really, some of the emigrationist writers were still alive and writing then
+ soviet literature wasn't all bad either

my pubic hair has a higher intellect than you lol

also i used to mostly read books on my phone at 14-16 because i read most books in 2-5 days and didn't see a reason to waste money on paper that lasts so little.
now i'm /ascended/ and stockpile books from resell kiosks for under 2$ each. it's pleasant to let my eyes rest on some paper.

Cкaзки тeмнoгo лeca пpoчитaй. Пpo лecных эльфoв. Чтивo зaeбиcь.

Yes, bunch of cringy novels, purely for entertaining.

based. i used to read Dontsova as a kid during long train rides bc it's the only thing they had in kiosks

right now reading Night Watch by Lukyanenko
I expected much worse desu, I mean books with young wizards, vampires and werewolfs in tend to be the the lowest of low young adult trash for fat ugly women.
