Serious question, speaking off meme. I've read before that Sardinians are the European population most closely resembling the Neolithic farmers that came to Europe from the Middle East and I was seeing pics of Sardinians while reading the wiki article and I thought most of them looked like regular white people, like there's some that look kinda Middle Eastern but they don't seem particularly common, certainly not more than in the Italian mainland where people are closer to the rest of Europe, in fact they seem even whiter than Southern Italians (just going from the pics that people post here).
So like what's up with this? Shouldn't they look the most Middle Eastern out of all European populations?
Because it was a super ancient migration and Middle Eastern people is a different mix now? Just like you can't found 100%caucasian looking people in western China anymore.
Sardinians descend from Anatolian Neolithic Farmers. Modern day Near-Eastern people are a different thing, especially Turks.

Not at all. They are among the oldest European stock genetically. Sardinians are the population of Western Europe that has best preserved the Neolithic legacy. Their next kin are the Basques. They are also the only people who have similar genome to Oetzi.
Where fuck is written that those soldiers are sardinians? The fact that an Italian army brigade is headquartered in sardinia it doesn't mean the soldiers are necessarily sardinians.... after the world war one that sassari s brigade is not constituted in large part by sardinians, so dear retard those soldiers come from all parts of Italy......but above all your sentence which connection has with the sense of this post?

The Welsh have less Neolithic farmer ancestry than the English. People really need to learn to disassociate certain phenotypical traits from ancestral groups. Just because the Welsh occasionally display seemingly-Iberian combinations of dark hair and eyes, and sometimes olive-like skin tones, doesn't make them 'Neolithic'. The English have more Farmer ancestry than either the Welsh or Irish, both of whom plot more northerly on PCAs
