It's always hilarious when burgers laugh at 2-4 European policemen struggling to arrest a suspect because they don't understand that a good policeman is supposed to arrest a subject without injuring him or himself. That was a bad shooting for sure, but you also have to factor in the information the officers received from the call. They received a call that a man in a hotel room was brandishing a rifle through the window, thus the armed response. The man was drunk and crying yes, but if you think a drunk crying guy can't or won't pull a pistol on you, you are dead wrong. Did the officer who fired on him make a bad call? In hindsight, it's clear he did, but I would be willing to bet you or anyone on 4channel.org would probably be any better under similar duress.
