Native Finnish woman Marika Svetlana Makaroff is the producer of the new computer animated Moomin series. It was first aired on Friday, 1st of March 19 in Finnish TV.

The old Moomins of the 90s was hand drawn by the Japanese and only the script was written by Fenno-Swedes and voices were provided by various Finns on the characters.

But now this new series is fully Finnish and all graphics are done on a computer. 1.38 million viewers has watched the first episode. You can select from both Finnish and Fenno-Swedish speech for the program. There are some celebrities doing voicing like Finnish woman Alina Tomnikov.

Makaroff is Orthodox Karelian and Tomnikov is half Russian half Finn. OP lied about the formers name though it's Katja Marika.

Bravo Finland!

Pretty cool that I can watch this shit in Swedish

Thanks fenno-swedes~

sverige = snusmumriken

Nice but I want to establish that Moomin is originally made by a FennoSWEDE BVLL

Finnish and Russian relations summed up by one picture

It's strange to see russian surnames without russian endings
Hell, at least change it to Makarova(anen) and Tomkova(anen)

shiit, there may be land restriction it is allowed only in Finland and Sweden :/

here is voiceless video then

>without russian endings

But aren't those endings fine?

not for women because womans last name should usually end with -a

example:
male last name is Makarov
female last name is Makarova

both are still considered having the same last name

Makarov is for men and Makarova is for women
Nikitin/Nikitina
Karelsky/Karelskaya
etc

fuck I though it was "TomnikovA" indeed

russian woman + swedish man?

>3D
Soulless

true and moominpilled

Sorry but he is Karelian bvll

Carelians have Swedish genes but Finnish culture
They never had Swedish culture but always Finnish one. Yet they also had always Swedish genes.

They are a truly puzzling group.

could be the result of vikangz, sweden founded a lot of cities in eastern europe

>Finnish woman
>Tomnikov

...

what is the female version of putin?

putina?

lol.

also if the name ends with "-ovich" , is it like "-ovichna".

also do what is female smirnoff?

lol, putins daugters are putina.

that is dumb.

Garelians are like the high german in finland

>what is the female version of putin? putina?
Yep, Putina with the stressed u
>also if the name ends with "-ovich" , is it like "-ovichna".
There are no russian "-ovich" surnames, only patronymic.
If a person has surname of a foreign origin the ending remains the same as in the original
Olga Karjalainen (finnish) / Tatyana Schmidt (german) / Anna Okroprienko (ukrainian) / Valentina Radich (balkan)
>also do what is female smirnoff?
SmirnOFF is a made-up surname, the actual one is SmirnOV. And in this case it will be Smirnova

ovich for man = ovich for woman
smirnoff (smirnov) = smirnova

GERMS changed the Smirnov name into the form Smirnoff, same happened to lot of Russian -ov names within Swedish-Finnish realm

Thanks, I loved watching them as a kid :^)
Looks fun, though a bit sterile and lifeless compared to the cartoons :^(
