Jiraya is a terrible character. You know that, right?
He was Naruto's god father, but didn't see him once in over 10 years. Then he constantly ditches Naruto to "gather intel" (i.e. fuck whores).
He teaches him a few Jutsu, sure, that's pretty nice. But he doesn't do jack shit to help Naruto control the nine-tailed fox. He even spent 3 years "training" Naruto, and he came back knowing nothing new.
He doesn't care about responsibility at all. He doesn't want to take care of Naruto, he doesn't want to be Hokage.
In the end he died how he lived.. alone in bumfuck nowhere and nobody knew where he was

Zabuza actually felt somewhat real, had a mentality you would expect in a world like his and nowhere near absurd powers. Ruined by the sharingan and talk no jutsu.
Obito had a lot of potential, for once the only character who lost his dream, just like irl, and again like you would expect during war.
Itachi and Kakashi are just unrelatable npc ninja geniuses, even more lazy written than the eternal genjutsu motivation.
Sasuke is an interesting case, his backstory is just outreal but still appealing because it made me imagine how would a person like that be like. Naruto never faced a challenge and every other character felt just like anime archetipes with filler powers.
