>tfw week-end
>tfw it makes no difference for me.
Got anything planned?
Posting on /med/
Nice.
So, what's up fren?
I'm already tired of working famalam.
So much new stuff to learn quickly or I will be seen as pic related
Also fuck commuting time
Oh you're the user that started work recently and mentioned some qt co-worker?
All of that stuff you mentioned is part of what scares me of employment desu. Commuting
always suck, especially by public transport.
Yes I am.
Honestly it's not so bad, people are fine. And it helps you a lot to socialize.
I guess. I got several issues to tackle, when I do.
You can do it user.
Also what about you ? Did anything ? Planned anything ?
Today I just browsed Jow Forums and played vidya. Tomorrow or maybe on Sunday I plan to pick and squeeze lemons from our tree and preserve the juice in the freezer. I've already done this two days ago.
>fresh juice from the fruits of your garden
Enjoying ur friday /med/?
Can't beat that, right?
Eh, I had better days. You?
I'd probably find that not good because of the habit of drinking drinks bought from the supermarket
im tired and want to kms but ive had worse days, at least im comfy af at home
I don't know about that. If it's good, it's good.
Home sweet home.
bump
>nothing on tv
>nothing on Jow Forums
>nothing interesting online
>no motivation to read books
UGH
also, do you guys like books, if yes, which is ur favourite?
I read mostly in public transports, sometimes in my bed before sleeping. No real favorite books but I mostly read famous novels.
I want to start reading, eventually.
i used to read a lot of novels too, mostly russian ones, but i need to go into the french scene one day, there's just no fucking motivation, how do you motivate urself user?
>acquire library card
>??
>profit
>russian
love them too
Well, I read mostly in public transportation, you don't need motivation, you need to make the time pass.
>tfw cant read when in motion because i get nauseated
>i used to read a lot of novels too, mostly russian ones
can you elaborate a little?
>but i need to go into the french scene one day
modern or like post ww1?
It's a bit tough sometimes, mostly in car.
train is quite peaceful so it's easier
try before bed, make it easier to sleep
who are you favorite authors, french user?
I'm lazy unfortunately. Also impatient.
>can you elaborate a little?
realism, tolstoy is my fav, will start reading socialist era shit, already read master and margarita and it was decent
>modern or like post ww1?
i think unironically the only """"""french""""" author ive read is andrei makine, and i didnt like it
Same, started reading to waste less time in the lunch break at school
if you end up liking it, it will become easy
if you don't like, find something else
Well I mostly read famous books so Tolstoi, Dostoievski, a bit of Puchkin also Gogol
Maybe I get my some history and/or folklore related books in the near future. It's the only subjects I'm slightly interested in reading.
Anabasis is based and redpilled desu
there is more great books in a first two decades of 20th century than in rest 80 years, so don't rush into soviet era literature just yet. it's not good with little exceptions if you don't seek just for an aesthetic. on the other hand the 20th century was a really good for french literature, you will find a lot of interesting authors, i assure you.
>Well I mostly read famous books so Tolstoi, Dostoievski, a bit of Puchkin also Gogol
i see, thank you.
I was thinking local stuff first.
going to Lisbon this weekend lads, gonna be fun I hope
I've been reading a lot of crime novels lately, mostly stuff from Christie
There's also Brothers Karamazov which I've been reading since december and I'm not even halfway through, its hard finding the time for leisure when you're a wagie
i literally watched all of poirot movies when i was young, the actor was fucking based, how are the books?
Have fun fren.
>SepticFlesh
Nice
thanks Maltabro
Finished "and then there were none" couple of days ago, great pacing and mystery, her prose isn't that great but it does its job, don't expect a Woolf tier aesthetic, I didn't see the twist coming, definitely recommend it.
It's a short read, I'm gonna start murder on orient express next.
do you read in the library?
bump

She's very cute. Good taste fren. I usually go to bed somewhere between 1-2 am.
tell me more about yourself, maltabro, if i learned anything from life its that we dont get to know ourselves and the people we talk to good enough

Hmm, like what?
like... what music do you listen to?
magari posta il canzone che ti piace di piu
are you here?
I listen to multiple genres. I can't post just one song, so I'll post a couple.
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
le prime due canzone sono buonissime, but i DESPISE the electric guitar so the other two dont speak to me
are you religious, my friend?
Metal was what got me into music desu. What do you like?
I'm not religious. I honestly don't know what to believe.
>reading
>ever
Play some video games, lad
i listen to greek and med music mostly, despite that i dont understand the language, this is my favourite song, i despise all techno, rock and rap
im thinking of enrolling into college just to study greek language and literature
youtu.be
>I'm not religious. I honestly don't know what to believe.
sometimes i feel the same, but i firmly believe we are here for a reason
my friend, most of my childhood i speant playing vidya and it ruined me, not that reading books made my life better, they made it even worse desu
Not a fan of rap either. But I like some electronic music too. So by Greek and med music you mean folk/traditional?
>sometimes i feel the same, but i firmly believe we are here for a reason
I don't know. I feel like that our existence doesn't necessarily mean that there's something supernatural.
>So by Greek and med music you mean folk/traditional?
yes, basically pop folk, it strikes me straight in the heart
>I don't know. I feel like that our existence doesn't necessarily mean that there's something supernatural.
my friend, if i believed like you, i would have kms a long time ago, how can you even justify this painful existence without a god figure (edgy, ik)
I'm not saying spend all day playing vidya, but spending like 3-4 hours playing games you like can be breddy comfy
youtube.com
I just find it hard to believe sometimes that there's something.
> i would have kms a long time ago
Well, let's just say if things were a bit different we would've never talked.
good song, i guess modern music isnt all that bad
>Well, let's just say if things were a bit different we would've never talked.
this is what keeps me awake at night, one second off and i woundt have turned out the way i did, nor meet the people i did
bro, i was an avid gamer, i played vidya for most of the day, i eventually got disillusioned by it, and when it hit me, i couldnt believe how much time i had wasted on the vitual world instead of the real one
youtube.com
> i guess modern music isnt all that bad
Good guess; it's just that the good stuff is not easy to come by.
I wish I could believe, but I just can't. Faith is not something I can force myself into. I don't really care about missed opportunities anymore. My life is one whole missed opportunity.
>I don't really care about missed opportunities anymore.
how do you manage to do this?
I see myself as what I am, a sack of shit who will never amount to anything, and it's easy for me to cope with it. I never had any high hopes for myself and in the past year or so these hopes have died out.
pfffft, it took a guy from a remote island to explain it to me (no h8), no amount of family or close friend advice could have done it, all i can say is thank you
I don't know, I don't care anymore.
I'm off to bed user. Goodnight.
