Dude just get a job lmao

>dude just get a job lmao
these are all the places I've applied to in the past two years and I've only gotten 1 job out of it that was a temp position

That means you're a sperg. You do realize this is the best job market we've had in years, right. I suggest taking a shower before your next interview.

that looks like a porn folder

2 years? I can get through 20 applications in a week.

>taking financial advice from plebs

unironically a boomer

competition is ruthless right now, most firms want passive bootlickers.

>wahh I'm too much of strong independent personality
>that's why I'm unemployable
I hope NEETs don't actually think this

>i have an architect degree so i'll look only for architect positions
if you cherrypick the jobs you apply to you're not really looking for a job
and yes this flies in the face of normie wisdom. guess what, the normie life gets you 40 years of wagecucking, a wife who won't fuck you and a daughter who fucks black guys. enjoy

don't worry that's why we need more immigrants

i hope you applied before you graduated because the competition is much stiffer if you're not a student.
i also hope you worked in a relevant field during your summer and didn't spend your time playing video games or shitposting on Jow Forums.

to anyone who is a student reading this thread, if you want a great career after graduation, follow this advice:
>go to a school that is known for the field you're trying to work in
>attend coops and job fairs even as a first year student
>talk to professors and ask if they're looking for an intern or a ta
>GET A JOB IN A RELEVANT FIELD OVER THE SUMMER. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AS YOU NEED WORK EXPERIENCE AS A SENIOR.

if you just go home after class for 4 years, you'll be in for a bad time. no work experience and competing against a much larger pool of candidates means you're pretty much fucked. at this point i'd reapply for a semester of school just so i could apply to companies as a student.

So he should apply to Burger King?

thats the thing. i have 2 years of architecture experience and 3 years of related-field experience, yet i still cant get hired.i can barely get interviews and most companys dont even send a "sorry but no thanks" email

there's only so many related jobs I can apply for man. Im not an engineer and im not a construction manager. and nobody's gonna be impressed that I worked as a "library shelving clerk" for a year to make ends meet

Posting on Jow Forums will help

You must be completely useless, go into a temp agency and they will line you up with interviews in days, and usually a job within 2 weeks.

i heard the people here were the best in the business

threads like this makes me so hopeless for the future

Im still at this job a year later as a temp. the compony has no interest in hiring me and the temp agency cant find another job for me so im stuck in contractor limbo

Actually that green text is exactly what employers expect now. I went in for an interview at a car/home insurance company for a position as an actuary. I had an internship with actex the largest distributor of actuary exam study material and the interviewer basicly got upset. She said that I shouldn't have listed that internship on my resume because the only experience they care about is an internship at an insurance company working under cas actuaries. I was rejected. They only want to consider candidates that had an internship at one of their sister companies that they fund.

That's crazy, i've never heard of a temp job that lasted that long, usually you get hired after 3-6 months or they fire you and the agency has to find you another gig.

its a really weird situation man. half the time the company forgets im even a temp. its a good job thats related to my field so there's no point in quitting but I once i asked them if they'd be interested in hiring me and all they said was 'lol appy on our website and we'll see' 4 weeks later still nothing. so now I'm a 13 month temp. the summer months are tough for firms because nobody hires until august so i have to hold out for another month

Imagine yourself in the HR's position. What would make you stand out more as opposed to other candidates?

I'm not seeing your Firm Handshake folder; welfare just too damn attractive to you eh?

so 60 applications huh?
i mean if u really wanted a JOB, u would send out 100 applications a month

Dude lmao I just started a hunt for a job upgrade two days ago and 3 of my 4 applications have already garnered response.
