Ok that admittedly was FUD, but I'm just frustrated due to the waste of potential that AMB currently is. You cannot deny the fact that most points that were raised in this thread have at least some truth to them. Making these threads is also my way to test how much interest there is for the project and if anyone is even willing to rebut the (partially exaggerated) criticism that AMB faces.
I agree the marketing isn't anything special and it is still unknown, but the way I see it unless they fail completely it's worth holding onto. If their network works and gets use and people start making money off nodes it will sell itself basically.

The thing is that the bad marketing and failed guerilla marketing (kimchi) are jeopardising the goal of widespread adoption (see GSK).
AMB has a stellar team and a good usecase, but the main points people are talking about is the recent drama. This paints a negative picture of AMB to anyone who wants to invest in or actively use AMB.
I used to participate in AMB threads a few months back, but drifted away cos i wasnt invested and could see the whole operation was flawed - maybe not a scam per se, but it just wasnt doable.
fast forward to now and i still cant believe people are falling for this idea. food and drug monitoring is no joke; there;s no way a group like AMB would be trusted by multiple governments to handle somthing this important. a food line production scandal could bring down a fucking national government, in china government officilas were executed b/c of failures in this sphere.
my only advice is to get out of this if you can. AMB will never happen. ever.
