Bentley is owned by Volkswagen and Vauxhall is owned by Peugeot.
When the Asian currency and economic crisis, many Japanese companies went away from south east Asia, of course, from Thailand too.
But at the time, only Isuzu stayed there, even though they knew they would have a commercial undertaking that risks a loss.
Therefore that act became the cause of increasing the share of Isuzu in Thailand and the gain of Isuzu after the Asian currency and economic crisis.
In from medium- and long-term perspectives, their decide was right.
I don't know how the Japanese car product companies will decide from now, but if British people will be like Thai people, I think the companies who decide to stay the UK.

Britain's decline during the latter half of the 20th century would be sad were it not for the fact that they made an enemy of almost every other country in the world.
seething
Why are they specifically pulling out of the UK and not other European countries?
stay mad island nigger
>horrible state
Growth slowing down is more accurate but that's hardly the reason they'd abruptly pull out of their investments in Britain.
5 out of 8 car manufacturors. One of which (Honda if I'm not mistaken) having incredible symbolic value as their arrival in Britain in the first place was brought about by its economic renaissance under Thatcher. The symbolism should be clear: the companies that had faith in Britain's economic restoration under Thatcher are pulling out because they have lost faith in May's Britain.
Not only has everyone already proven ITT that those companies are foreign owned, Bentley's CEO has stated that it may move production to the EU (he didn't specify where but Germany is the most likely candidate) in the case of a hard Brexit.

Also note the quintessentially British name of the CEO.
Wasn't TVR rebought by the british after being owned by that crazy russian for a while? And what about MG? And Triumph?
TVR is basically dead, MG is owned by China and Triumph don't sell cars
Past hardships have been reset.
