Tell me what you drink then

Tea like any normal human being.

Just regular coffee with milk I guess?
I actually have no idea what you'd call this normal coffee that you make with these machines in english.

It's called drip coffee

I'm not sure
I boil some water, add coffee powder to it.
Pour it in a cup and add milk to it
I'm not sure what coffee that is

starbucks espresso is foul

I don't drink Starbucks, only home-made coffee like the average Brazilian.

Are there any better alternatives tho? My Starbucks is literally just outside my apartment complex, my most convenient option. I can’t even think of another coffee chain off the top of my head

i'm guessing you're in a city then? there's probably some local hipster coffee shop you could go to. or you could make your own

>starcucks

Figures American would drink this garbage.

I grind arabica coffee beans and brew with French Press

Favourite coffee is the "Royal Mix Dark" from Café Paradiset here in Visby. It's a dark, strong large coffee made from mixed quality beans that is just glorious. 3 Euro per cup (large cup) isn't bad either. And the place is comfy as heck.

unironically McDonald's

Tell me where you live (what city)
Search google for (your Area) + "coffee roaster"

It'll return people roasting locally so you can buy fresh beans, that's the secret of coffee, it has to be fresh, even low grade beans can be made great if they're fresh and roasted on sight/properly.

Learn how to brew your own coffee at home, I suggest starting with an Aeropress because of how easy it is to start with, you can then move to Hario or something else.

Google is your friend.

>roasted on sight

on site***

I actually live in suburban New York, Amityville to be specific. I guess I could look around for a local coffee grinder or something, is the quality difference really worth it?

An empty coffee cup filled with tea.

*roaster

>is the quality difference really worth it?
Yes. Starbucks is bad, not terribly bad but bad. Any local café will make better coffee.

That place looks beautiful, is it an hipster place that charges really expensive or is 3 euros a normal price for a coffee in Sweden?

It's pretty average price I would say. Stockholm and some other cities might be more expensive but that's the big cities.

Visby in general is pretty known for cheap and tasty coffee, a normal cup of coffee at any (of the many, many) cafés here is anywhere between 1 Euro up to 5 Euro for the nicer stuff.

If you really got a budget there's even a breakfast diner that has 0.5 Euro cups of coffee down at the harbour. They also have the best ham/cheese sandwich in town.
