Trams are superior.
there are a few, but they're typically a feature of parks, or holdovers from development initiatives from expos like the world's fair

Why didn't she win? What the fuck Japan, why do you have such shit taste?
???
It does look nice. but the poor people who live in upper stores must suffer with the noise. How insufferable this thing going by your window.
No. RIP

No
Forgot to turn of VPN.
It's in Chengdu.
Not exactly a monorail but we had this weird thing for a few years some decades ago in my city. Sadly it was torn down.
You actually stop noticing it after living that close to trains after a couple weeks. It is amazing actually how well you tune it out.
Yes.
like this.
yes.
I am not english teacher though
>all those 20 yr olds in suits

The monorail seems to work very well in Japan. It has very irregular streets and intersection and lots of topographic relief.
Is Light Rail in the US just a horrible meme? I know a lot of cities around the world are getting rid of their shit Light Rail system now.
I live in Phoenix which has Light Rail and it is pretty shit. If you have a car, driving is a better option in literally every situation.
Do you know what anime is her from
Yeah, we have a few up in Wellington
The krauts got the Wuppertaler Schwebebahn.
I don't know her anime
God damn that thing looks so cool
The light rail / tramway (new gen, low entrance, broad carriages) wreck the tracks. Basle can now do maintenance work for some $10bn. Zurich will be next to take the hit. All tracks wrecked.
Wow, looks great. That's how you solve traffic problems.
You are Swiss-kun who went to Hokkaido or many places in Japan right?
Have been in Japan only once for business but I like the country, since everything is so efficient there.
Fucking japs copying based wuppertal trams from germany
>If you have a car, driving is a better option in literally every situation.
Seconded. Only, driving a car in Zurich is quite a challenge.
No, the Wuppertaler Schwebebahn consists of one line only & the distance is very short. Better not copy kraut stuff. (Airbus A380!)
>Also, accidents all the time. German engineering, kek.
Kek.
Yes so what
Invest more Sumitomo senpai, would rather have you guys than chink
I'm surprised they're allowed to go above roads.
They do at Disney World
you sound like a copy cat jap yourself

No way after that Simpsons episode.
No, because it's not expensive enough and doesn't take up enough space.
Nope

Yes we have them in Sydney.
>had
Yes, an elephant rode with it and then jumped out
Yes, but only in Moscow
That's the one in Chiba right? I rode in it.
Elephant!?
why?
any chance you give link to monorail video that filmed from the ground?
yes it fell and people died
I've heard burgers tram systems got fucked over by car manufacturers, so burgers would buy cars instead of using public transportation.
No, only trams and one subway.
yes of course m8
No, that is Shonan Monorail in Kanagawa.
i love japan now
>nightmare of acrophobia
Yes :D
The Monorail station, really near my apartment
about 200 meters from me posting this
At least in Japan, monorails are very quiet because they use rubber tires
Been there. It's pretty aesthetic with the pipes and river flowing under it. Interesting fact: One time it was used to market a circus with a elephant inside it. The elephant fell off into the river, but survived.
