Would literally kill myself if I lived anywhere too far from a major city. I could easily afford that exact house in a lot of places, but nowhere I'd actually want to be. I want to be at most a 5m drive from a good strip of bars & restaurants, and lots of people.

a drive to bars and restaurants? you gotta be able to walk that shit or it's not worth it

a house that nice and you're 50ft from neighbors. to each their own

just need 7 million, heh

I moved to a more spread out city from NYC. Most stuff I have to drive to. I have a handful of bars (like 3) and restaurants (8ish) I can walk to, plus a gym and some shops... that's fine. If I want to get to slightly busier city areas, I have to drive. I've learned generally a short drive is ok by me - I drive around 10-15m to get most other places I want to be. That's ok considering I have some walkable stuff. If I had no walkable stuff, I think I could live with a 5m drive.

God bless Chainlink, right, user?

That would go for $400K in SF Bay.
>please kill me

Too bad its actually in Porterville.

>tfw the bmw dealership next to your old home in palo alto could no longer afford the rent and has been displaced by a Mclaren dealership

The best distance is 10-20m from any hotspot, in a wooded area, away from other houses. That way you can still buy a sweet car/whatever vehicle and get the best of both worlds. There's nothing like living away from people.

anyplace with air conditioning and is quiet is fine for me
don't see point of living in a big house alone

I would kill myself if I had to live in a major city. It's full of shitskins in any western city and everything is overpriced

well the rich actually keep housing prices for mansions artificially cheap through zoning but not allowing lot splitting. So you have these large mansion lots selling for low $/sqf 20-30 minutes outside of major cities.

I’ve been daydreaming looking for houses the last few months on occasion. I’ve come to the conclusion that to get your dream house you really do need to find some land and design/build it yourself. For the money you spend on an already extravagant home you could probably build for the same price to your exact specs. My dream though is 2 homes. One on the water on the east coast/south (Gulf or Atlantic doesn’t matter) with a dock for boats and pool. The other home would be somewhere near west like Colorado/Utah/N Arizona. This one I just want on a huge fucking plot of land with a shit ton of room for snowmobiles, dirt bikes, etc and close to the mountains for skiing. Probably build a bunker there as well I’m case shtf. Neither house has to be extravagant, just needs those specifics. Near cities doesn’t really matter either but it would be nice for the east coast house. The west coast can be buttfuck innawoods

You should buy this place and then pound out Kathy King in the master bedroom

closer to the city means more property taxes

DELETE THIS

A place I can have sex in without having to shut the bitch up.

I'm guessing Kathy has decimal problem, it should be around a hundred grand.

But I'm going to check during business hours tomorrow, i can Air'bnb this bitch to people who want to golf Ram's Hill.

I want a farm with lots of land and rescue animals grazing and running free and I will spend my days tending the fields and looking after my animal brethren
So pic is not related op

This is my dream house. I would turn the back yard into a huge garden.

Do canadians actually do this

>do women actually do this?
fixed it for you. and yes, this is peak trophy wife

for 20 years
then have fun with health issues

advirtisement is towards women cause they will do the home buy decision over men

I was just thinking this. There's no way that's a house to the left there. Unless this house is in LA somewhere.

>berry picker let long hair pick cave

hohoho

How much is a FLW like that going for these days? Greatest architect you burgers ever had.

I'm not buying a house until boomers die off and student loan debt spirals out of control. If you are going to buy a house now you're better off buying a duplex and wait for your dream houses price to come crashing down. Make sure to keep an eye on it though.

you are mistaking generally for the aggregate. Japan is a society that has seen declining population for decades now, but tokyo and kyoto prices are not falling but going up, as there is still net migration to the cities, what you do see is far away small villages and small towns become devoid of young people and dying over time. So you are waiting to buy a house near a key urban area like SF, NYC, DC, LA, etc, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Just over a million seems to be the landing site

Rectangular usonians are pretty common but don't pop up for sale. Maybe because they were inexpensive enough to turn into the town museum.

amen. It is strange knowing houses like this will be obtainable for most the plebs here in a few years because of ChainLink

don't a lot of these mobile homes have absurd pad rent where you end up paying like $400+/month forever

Kek

It'll come back after the degeneracy / homeless bubble bursts.

I'd never live in a house since it's too much for 1 person (in my opinion) plus i am a schizoid/incel and can't stand people living with me, so i would prefer a apartment with a stunning view in some major city

Attached: 1c-rent.jpg (1200x530, 167K)

and the boomer of the day post goes to

Attached: 1530576066033.jpg (817x443, 57K)

You're just salty that these boomer studs are picking up your millenial women at bars

>schizoid
Yet you want to live in an apartment.

Cities are going to plummet in value sometime in the next 20 years and will never recover.

Attached: ZREACYI.jpg (1280x1917, 1.12M)

comfy

Yup, you have to be careful but honestly if it's not that it's property taxes or condo fees. You have to stomach some surprising and way out of line shit.

>boomer mcmansion as a dream house

Unironically this. Went to a college in some bumfuck nowhere college town and I've never wanted to kill myself more.

Can you describe it? I don't think i've ever spent more than a couple of days in such a place.

It was suffocating. Like Alcatraz surrounded by trees and farmland instead of water for a hundred miles, seeing the same people day in and out. It really made me miss the anonymity and freedom of the city where you can choose not to interact with the random strangers you pass by every day. It's actually when I started browsing Jow Forums obsessively, to get away from it all.

Attached: HT_tallest_residential_building_1_sk_141014_16x9_992.jpg (992x558, 86K)

This, I want to buy the land and build it. Doesnt matter what state its in (US).

Attached: BVS-284001-F.jpg (800x448, 104K)

i'm introverted by literally terrified of living alone in the middle of fucking nowhere. i need to be around a bunch of people even though i fucking hate them. what a curse

Seen worse. The style is pretty consistent. Better than some modernist box shaped shithole society has convinced people is aesthetic that I see posted.

>Mcmansion
Lmao you fucking burgers have absolutely 0 architectural taste

Ok mate, post the place you're buying.

This sick af apartment

zillow.com/homedetails/2550-N-Lakeview-Ave-UNIT-S3101-Chicago-IL-60614/2090172604_zpid/

Looks funky but I like it.

Doubt it, white people are moving towards Cities and away from the burbs. If anything I bet the Suburbs will plummet in value because minorities are moving to the suburbs because of "affordable" housing.

Yeah cuz everybody here either lives in or aspires to live in a McMansion. Personally, I want about 400 acres somewhere in Northern Utah with a cabin right in the middle. I am a misanthrope and if I never spoke to another human being in person, I'd be fine with that.

Rural housing all the way. Nice place built from logs on a huge piece of land

True. It is counter intuitive; the more you surround yourself inside a large population, the more you feel alone.

Attached: Davidian Compound.jpg (456x280, 208K)

So edgy.

>>>r/faggot

When I make it, I plan of living out of pic related.

Basically a rich homeless person

Attached: House.jpg (1960x1200, 266K)

why do turbonormalfags like you go on Jow Forums? genuinely curious

bit mcmansiony but cannot lie, that whole deck + backyard + forest setup looks incredibly cozy

it's truly bizarre the way normalfags get upset when people have unconventional desires. dude didn't say he wanted to kidnap people and rape them in his bdsm cabin, he just said he wanted to be alone. it's like you've got a defense mechanism because you're horrified at the idea people don't want to interact with your inane self, but it's stupid anyway because user is just one person not representative of the majority. calm down dude, and maybe be more interesting if you want people to hang out with you so bad

Has that got a skate park?

no? Thats an empty pool

Attached: M2674_16.jpg (1600x1067, 171K)

lmao what kind of fucking retard buys an empty pool?

looks like a skate park, you sure? Pic related is me, can i come over when you make it?

But i don't see the stake park, how can i show off my wicked skillz? looks like a lovely little village though

if you only knew how bad things really are there

Very nice

On the ocean in New England

I like to see people do normal shit from a distance, is that normal?

What about 3D printed mansions? They will come sooner than later.

Bueller? Beuller?
youtube.com/watch?v=f4zyjLyBp64

What a ugly building, 0 taste just big, typically American.

>Altschauerberg 8
I had a look, but everything is in foreign. Can you give a run down?

I would love to buy a secluded house away from civilization, but I also want to have kids and a wife - they are feeble creatures, easily bored and not appreciative of solitude and nature.

In the end I would have to live in a city but move to a wholly white / conservative area - however I don't like these rich snobs and don't want my children raised in that spoilt lifestyle either!

It's tough, guys.

Just get a house in mountains. You won’t live in an ‘anyone’ area.
