That's better than how I live and looks incredibly comfy. This is coming from someone who spent a year of high school living in a tent, sweating bullets, before graduating to a caravan without hot water. The whole small living space is something I've grown to feel weird without.
Compared to an overcrowded, polluted city in Mongolia, I reckon that sort of lifestyle at least for part of the year would be a welcome change.

Ger districts are full of broke peasants trying to get access to basic necessities. Basic infrastructure is missing in rural areas. The whole country is a shitshow.

Most countryside people are still using nomad lifestyle. They move every season, 4 times a year. Its only for good for animals because most animals eat wild grass they move for their herd. Its fucking hard. I think around 30% still lives like this.

There 2 types of home in Ulaanbaatar. One is apartment: Its just usual apartment.
The other one is small houses or yurts(ger) with surrounded by wooden fences. These are not easy but little bit hard ,
1.Get water from well using dolly or car
2.Use porta potty in 2019 (-40C poo poo outside is not easy)
3.And use coal to warm the house or yurts. It causes the most pollution.
Why people still live like this? Because we are broke. Our country is fucked.

Is the reason so many people have yurts in their gardens because they live outside the city at times or is it just family heirlooms that they keep around for more space?
