HOLY MOTHER OF BASEDNESS

dried figs are holy sweets

They grow here too. I ate some from the banks of the Danube, people plant them there. Wish I had my own tree, I'd eat all my figs. The wasps though.

my mom used to make a drink of these, i remember them on the streets everywhere, there was so much...

i actually have two trees in my yard, and they even survive winter, also i'm white

Yes, we do.

>be wh*Toid
>hey user what is that tropical plant?

true. not overly sweet like dates. Theyre just perfect

Real creative naming sense there

what about honey?

During ramadan street vendors would peel these and sell them right before adhan maghrib, my dad used to buy them and sometimes i touched the peel and cried from the pain.

wrong again

Dates are also super based, but what is even more based than dates is pic related.
what about it ?

dates dipped in something?

based thread

no, it is dates that are not fully matured that get harvested from date palms then left so they mature but without the tree, they taste very watery and sweet (i know that sounds stupid but i don't know the exact english word for it)

but OP, I do

>user don't eat that spontaneous berry , its poisonous

>i tried the fresh ones but theyre too hard and griddy.
try medjool dates, they are dates but super soft and not chewy at all.

We had one that came out of nowhere and it one day died and sort of disappeared.
Same. We make a syrup from carobs that we either use as an ingredient or mixed with hot water and lemon. It's said to have healing powers.

redpill me about dates, do they need very hot climates? nobody plants date trees here, I wonder why

>redpill me about dates
food of my ancestors alongside goat milk and bread, all muslims love it, any dates out of the middle east are cringe.

redpill me about dates

> nobody plants date trees here, I wonder why
date trees need 80 to 100 years before they start giving fruit.
"he who sows dates does not reap dates", we say here

you didnt answer my question. do they suffer winters? I'm just trying to understand why we dont have it here since there are various kind of palms

can I plant bananas in my garden?

i don't think they can survive in winters
