Brits label American food safety standards 'backward'

What do Americans think about this?

I don't get it. Wasn't UK going to be able to get super good deals thanks to their negociating and sovereignity powers being back in their own hands?

Everything I had to say on this particular subject is in here.

have fun starving you fucking anglos

>Anglos go on a nationwide shredding regime
Woah

don't forget they also made a super deal with Fiji

Is Brexit a sneaky backdoor, or plan B, for TTIP? To first get all that carbage accepted in the UK, and then eventually in the remaining EU countries?

>ex-minister says

To be fair, what morons would listen to the promises of a party that holdes ONE(1) out of OVER SIXHUNDRED (600+) seats in the LOWER HOUSE alone? UKIP is incredibly obviously the party that achieves nothing, shouts a lot and gets a lot of unwarranted attention. Hell, they can't even claim any meaningful credit for the referendum but they still did it... until it became a shitshow. Then even Nigel flat out stated he'd emigrate if things went awry.

>What do Americans think about this?
>Americans
>think
LMAO If Americans were of the thinking kind, they wouldn't be eating chlorinated chicken in the first place.

because American standards are worse than EU ones
ministers have said we're not going to lower them like the US wants though

>Is Brexit a sneaky backdoor, or plan B, for TTIP?
Don't know about TTIP but Australia rejected them from TTP (so far for "muh commonwealth trade" huh?). Though I doubt a (very unfavorable) trade deal with America while being bouted out of the EU's free trade area could really count as a "backdoor TTIP".

Trust me, that trade deal with America WILL come. If only to "prove" that Brexit wasn't a mistake and to "prove" this whole "a nimbler Britain that can make better trade deals" meme right. They need somethig to show to their voters and they need something to shove in the EU's face. Something, ANYTHING, even if it means their country becomes a dumping ground for American goods (which it will with Trump's obsession with balancing America's trade deficit).

who cares

EU food standards are mostly based on astrology like requiring bananas to have a specific curvature.

You know British yellow papers are notorious for making shit up, right?

Now here's something that isn't made up: in America, pizza is a vegetable.
nbcnews.com/id/45306416/ns/health-diet_and_nutrition/t/pizza-vegetable-congress-says-yes/

did you actually read the article or just look at the headline

Yeah, did you get your daily recommended dose of 200g of pizza?

couldn't care less

british tea is unfit for the US market and goes in the harbor

>Yeah
Then you would know it's just a bill right?

You're going to split hairs over that when you earlier propagated the outright falsehood of banana curvature?

I'm not that user.

But my point still stands

A regime so effective they shred this mortal coil entire.

The brits that aren't cucks to the unelected EUropean globalists are alright.

Why is it people only make threads about Britain when 99% of Brits are sleeping? Are they scared of facing superior Anglo wit in an actual argument?
