Just completed this set, I'm basically the WoW equivalent of Master Chief, complete with a glowing sidekick.

A lone, aging elite soldier going from one war to the next, wearing ornate and powerful armor crafted by long-forgotten methods, under a banner that harks back to a golden age of heroes, an age long since over and past as I trudge through the wastes of a world that is no more than a decaying husk, a tragic shadow of its former glory.

It is my fate to fall on the fields of battle, consumed by the tides of chaos and darkness as the last shining beacon of once great civilization, a relic from a foregone era.

I go back and forth but Alliance is FAR more fleshed out, especially with cities and quest hubs. Orgrimmar is still the best city in the game though

Because I know you all want to see more of him.

So what are you maining when classic is released?

Split between druid or shaman to play as heal. Really like the intuitive nature of healer gameplay. Also like tanking so might follow the main up with a warrior. That's at least the initial plan. How about you?

Someone even made an add-on to track your progress towards your next legndary item drop in Legion. You could consistently farm 2-3 legendary items/week on the last stretch of Legion. It was ridiculous indeed.

60 mage again, like on Nost.
I figure I can aoe farm Dm north and make a shit ton of gold and use that to twink out a new warrior

Last time I played on Elysium I had a 60 lock. Lock is pretty fun but I think I’m more useful to groups as a mage.

Horde is for edgelords and furfags in denial

Alliance is for normalfags and Jow Forumstards

only other game is ffxiv which is ok but it sucks at end game because devs think ffxi is the height of mmos

Just stop playing MMOs altogether or find an alternate MMO. MMOs aren't going to get any better at this point, they'll continue to follow the "WoW Killer" or just "WoW" formula. Find another game with multiplayer.

I play a goblin, I kid you not

I don't really have high hopes because it's going to go one of two ways
1. Direct 1:1 aside from patching some REAALLLLLY broken garbage. Players get to remember how tedious doing absolutely anything was, how a small percentage of specs would even be taken on a raid, abysmal balance in general and despite all this, rotations are 1-1-1-1-1-1-2-1-1-1-1-1
2. OSRS route which could be okay but muh pure vanilla fags will boycott it and there's no guarantee the dev team will make regular content without breaking the 'feel' of vanilla

I still have a bigger nostalgiaboner for vanilla/TBC than any other game, though

it cannot be helped. i cant find any other games to play that take up time.

Me personally, I went into Dark Souls after I unsubbed from WoW. Had a good time with 1, meh time with 2, took a break from starting 3 to do some Elder Scrolls games, then I'll probably pick back up. But if you find something to take up your time that is otherwise occupied by a MMO, you'll eventually have something to fill the void that's left in your heart. I won't lie that I still check on Wowhead or /wowg/ time to time to see if it's gotten any better, but I'm fine to watch at cautious distance as I'm doing other things rather than invest myself for the first few days of subscribing for a month and then basically drop the game after that initial period of reunion.

there's actually a finnshit that's subscribed to wow lmao

Got all legendaries for all classes with a heal or tank spec and on all specs, started with druid's 4 specs. You could buy one legendary item from the dala vendor and loot another by doing daily hc, raids and argus portals+rares, doing them all would yield a little more than enough progress for 1 legendary item, hence the 2-3 leges/week.

sissy betas and weebs all play alliance so I kill them on sight ok

I've quit wow back in mop. Should I buy new expansion just to try it out? Sometimes I do go back to the good old days spent on playing wow with that one swedish faggot and a random Dane who ended up being my good online friend

Yeah, I did all that. You could not get 2-3 legendaries a week consistently at any point. It was all luck based.

>doing them all would yield a little more than enough progress for 1 legendary item

Not at all, you have a wrong understanding of percentages of these things. I actually had a lot of characters and I'm a top raider, and I never got 3 legendaries in any week.

Don't be autistic. Original point was that legendaries were given out like cookies, and he highlight just how much. Even if a little exaggerated.

Owner of 5 dwarf female chars here, AMA.

Alliance

Well that's weird. I could consistently get 2 legendaries a week, sometimes 3, with all the additional alts I made in the last stretch of Legion. Got all leges for all specs on druid, monk, priest, paladin, demonhunter, death knight and warrior, of which 4 (dk priest monk warrior) I leveled at the last stretch of Legion, and they all got 2+ leges per week, every week. It must have been an insane series of coincidences then, and the LPT add-on must have been making some very lucky guesses as to when the leges would approximately drop. Ofcourse the lege drop was always based on random luck, but the LPT add-on was a good indicator as to when it's likely to happen. I also raided, curved all legion raids and cutting edge on nighthold and argus, but that has little to do with the consistent lege drops.

Also, to farm a lege consistently did require a lot of dedication since you had to make it to every argus portal and keep killing the rare spawns whenever they came up. If you only played for a couple hours per day then you couldn't make it, but I had all the time to farm almost everything that had a chance to drop leges.

The other weekly lege was from wakening essences, which you could get enough of by doing all the weekly dungeon&raid content.

There were several others in my guild doing this too and we'd always race to see who would be quickest to get the weekly lege drop (lowest LPT %), since everyone consistently got it.

It's weird to me that our experiences vary this much.

I didn't exaggerate one bit though.

stop projecting, cuck
the lack of testesterone and adrenaline in real life forces cucks and soyboys to play horde, so they can be ME SMASH ME STRONG at least in their fantasy video games
Alliance is the choice of a selfmade man

Cant decide what to racechane my warlock to now that Zandalari paladins/monks were asspulled and had zandalocks removed. Also no KT warlocks because it makes 100% sense that they can be mages or priests but with an entire zone dedicated to witches, hexes and curses they cant fucking produce a warlock coven
