Ryan Stewart
honestly l was surprised to find out Langobard is the etymology of Lombardi
John Brooks
>>ostrogoth and totila
>>longobards
Germanic =/= German
>>hre occupation
compare the region of Italy that was in the HRE to that region that wasn't. The HRE was beneficial for its member territories.
>>potestantism
was justified and didn't affect Italy
>>ww1
Germany and Austria were allied to Italy but Italy decided to attack Austria anyway, nobody forced Italy to join the war
>>ww2
again nobody forced Italy to join the war, Mussolini was just an oppertunist. In fact, he got bailed out thrice by Germany (Greece, Egypt, when he got captured in 43)
>>eiu economic policy
elaborate
Dominic Clark
We don't trust Italy anymore.
Well, you were '41-'44
Benjamin Miller
Sicily was once the capital of hre duh
All the other arguments are cope and i don't have time to justify this statement so don't bother reply
Colton Ward
the HRE had no capital, Frederick II just liked to reside in Sicily (which was only part of the HRE for a few decades)
and if you can't support your claims then don't make them.
Nolan Brooks
More or less.
Surely better friends than France or Bongland.
Nathan Long
Ask an Italian in Germany anything
Isaiah Davis
Quale 'ndrina?
Justin Gonzalez
Voti PD?
Ryan Young
immigrant or on vacation?
how do you like it here?
Michael Rivera
Italy is like that roommate that borrowed some $500 for some emergency. You remind him later and he gets mad at you. He finally agrees to paying the money back. You both drive to the next ATM. He suddenly turns around and tries to negotiate it down to $400, you say no and that you want your money. He goes inside the bank and comes back saying he only has $40 calls you a piece of shit petty 'friend' and threatens to move out of the apartment.
Jackson Hernandez
Sounds like Greece
James Ramirez
That sounds like an oddly specific experience.

Neither, worked for this year and about to go abroad. I like the weather (yeah, i know but it gets way too hot in Italy) but it's true that you eat Scheisse. People are so-so, polite but not to the point of actively integrating you
Zachary Torres
easily imaginable
Eli Hernandez
>but it's true that you eat Scheisse.
dumb meme. go to a proper German restaurant and pick a randum hearty dish, they're excellent.
Jason Edwards
what do you think about all those turks & arabs larping as italians opening restaurants?
Sebastian Jackson
and what would you wish people did for integrating you? do you feel discriminated against sometimes?
Luke Mitchell
Ireland used to be pretty good friends with Germany, things haven't been the same since Hitler died though
Charles Ortiz
having a common enemy =/= being friends

No, see, that's the point. You have to go to a proper restaurant to get good food. People in their homes eat whatever shit nourishes them
> (You)
>what do you think about all those turks & arabs larping as italians opening restaurants?
Actually the italian restaurants ans cafes i found here are actually owned by italians

Nothing particularly, maybe be more patient with the language and i dunno invite me more often to events and shit. But people have been overall really nice as I'm a likeable person. Of course the word mafia come from time to time but jokingly enough

fair enough, I don't care much about taste, I care more about what's healthy and has nutrients
