It generally is in all big crowded places in Western Europe, police know who they are but they can't do anything because they either steal so little it's not a penal offence or they steal more but aren't even sent to jail because it's a minor crime. Yes, very. My block is like a limbo. If I walk a bit to the South East (to the right of my computer) I end up there. If I go North West (left of my computer) I'm in Detroit. It isn't a smooth transition either, it's very sharp. It's like 1 major street is acting as an imaginary line separating blacks and whites, and the environment of the areas show it as well. Most likely one of the biggest reasons blacks don't live in GP is the housing prices (especially houses by the river like in pic. The small ones there aren't that expensive but in other areas there's only Mansions by the river)

In my little hometown there are a couple small Roma families. It's usual, when they go to the local supermarket, that they try to get in front of the checkout queue stating that they've left their house open and unattended (implying someone would go in and steal shit) :DDD it's the symbol and what he represents that's the role of a politician after all many things are not strongly enforced, plus many officers are right leaning. on the other hand, far left groups are not targeted by the same type of laws so it's kept balanced by "not enforcing too much on one side". I remember last year, during the remembrance day (ours, not the special guys' one), some far left fugs started rioting praising Tito and the cleansing of the Italian communities in the coastal regions of Yugoslavia bcs muh fascist invasion etc (just consider that most of the coast was under Venetian rule since 1000AD so muh fascism up their ass). They got beaten by the police because they started breaking stuff not because of the genocide apology btw those groups are very likely just honeypots

Back in my college, during my penultimate year, during breaks my friends and I would from time to time spend the break sitting on a neighbouring church's front door steps. From time to time we'd be visited by what I assume is a gypsy, holding these well made cards and he'd give us one each to read. These cards were actually well made, with plastic coverings and all. The English was needless to say disastrous and it talked about some children with cancer. After some time you see him with his hand out asking for money.

Probably the rarest flag of the trip, this city is like 800 people and in the middle of nowhere, but it was along the route, and it has a flag here, so here you go
eventually got to the town of Locke afterwards. It's the last remaining rural chinese-american village in the US. It's only a couple blocks long, and the buildings are old and packed together.
and here's a picture of the memorial park they put up for the chinese-americans. Ironically enough the town's asian population left long ago, so the whites all run the shops and stuff. Very neat little town; not really much to see but there was a little restaurant in one of the old buildings; ate lunch there. The rooms are so tiny hahaha

cops here are shit, but the ones in Mexico are extra shit. My grandfather had a Salvadorean partner on the waterfront who visited his family down there every Christmas, and when he traveled by van through Mexico he'd get pulled over as he entered every state and had to pay bribes to all the local cops.
