Would you lie on a resume?
Would you lie on a resume?
They won't even bother reading it if you give a good handshake.
You don't have to lie, you just have to reach. Come up with any good quality in yourself that is relatable to some extent.
I have in the past in two separate occasions, got the job both times
for dumb necessary things like being proactive or honesty. Everything else should be the truth
In what situations do people need to lie? When they've gotten fired from their previous job?
Admit to being anxious or being sometimes too honest, when the interviewer asks you about your flaws. Basically say you have autism or social anxiety in a less direct way. Then add modesty to your good traits.
probably about their skills
all is fair in love and bullshit
Literally everyone I know lies on a resume, it's a sad culture we've created because recruiters ask for too much shit. Most people with zero experience can easily learn to do a job if they aren't legit retarded
my entire resume is lies
I """lied"""" a little before and put i had experience with a programming language that i hadnt touched or remember for 5 + years, then one time on a phone interview someone asked about it and my mind went blank and that shit was terrible. I took that language off but now i put python on because it seems easy enough to learn if i had to
Outright lie? Maybe, but i wouldn't feel too confident with it
Exaggerate? Why yes, I already did
Learn to lie lol, like just have a computer in front of you with google search nigga
I "typo'd" my graduate date from uni since I've been NEET for a couple years, easier than explaining my lack of work history
>sorry but we're not giving you this job because you've been out of work for too long and we don't think you'll be able to mesh with us
>if you won't give me a job because i haven't had one for a while, how am i supposed to find a job?
>uhhh
spinning fly kick in the interviewers face
Only if I can dab and/or do a Fortnite dance after
yeah it was the first interview in my life and i was not prepared
That's actually pretty good, never thought of doing that.
How significant is lack of work history? I've never worked with any organisation but I've done tons of your usual freelance work from front end website design to making game assets.
These count, r-right? I also have a couple of games of my own to show for, I can put these on a resume if I want to find work?
Here it's pretty bad unless the company is desperate, not sure how it is there
This
yeah those count
Well, I'm looking to apply for Microsoft since I've had programming experience in C# and Unity. Hopefully, they'll look at one clusterfuck of a resume when I send them.
It's fine if you're comp sci or art, everyone else is fucked.
If you can afford it, honestly just pay someone to write it, there's services for this exact sort of thing and I did it. Cost me $100 or so but was a million times better than anything I could have made
Thanks bros. You'll hear from me when I take over the company from Satya Nadella.

HIlarious thing, I've done that work too, getting paid for writing resumes and final year projects lol
How else would I stand a chance next to the privileged Harvard student?
Harvard is a meme college more about connections/buying your way in than academic achievements
