Here's a few I've done:
- Make currency in video games and sell it. I personally made about $10,000 shortly after Diablo 3 released.
- Make useful software and take donations. I've received a lot of donations over the years doing this. Nowadays there are people who do this full-time thanks to Patreon.
- Sports betting and/or online poker. This one needs a TON of discipline. I personally made a lot of money on sports betting, but sadly I didn't have the discipline needed, so I quit while I was on top.
- Upload copyrighted material and put them on a site, learn how to optimize it for good SEO and get money from affiliate links, ads and shit like that. I hacked into a shop selling digital content a while ago and had access to a ton of stuff that I did this with using a ton of scripts for automation. I ended up getting cold feet eventually and just dropped it without making anything significant though, but it definitely was possible.
- Cheats in video games or cracks for software. While I haven't tried selling any before, I've written a few before for educational purposes (reverse engineering software is a hobby of mine) and I'm confident I could make money doing this.
- Crypto. This actually made me a millionaire. Thanks to money I made in the things I listed above, I was able to put a decent amount of money into crypto pretty early. Obviously it's not nearly as easy to make money now compared to when I started, but there's still so much money to be made there, especially if you have NEET levels of free time to do research and/or program stuff. There's probably a lot of money to be made illegally in crypto too.

Besides the above things, there's just so many things out there that I've come across. There's a lot of niche markets where people make a lot of money because they've taken the time to learn a skill well, and if you're a NEET you'll have all the time in the world to learn such skills. For instance taking commissions for translating Japanese porn, drawing porn, even shit like making avatars for people to use in VR games can make you money.

Just fill it with placeholders until you're ready to put the actual content in. VNs are simplistic in nature, so it shouldn't be particularly hard if you have experience in programming, which it sounds like you have.

Going to be 30 this year but things are pretty good. Life isnt perfect but I have a good job, never seem to run out of money, make friends pretty easily, some girls like me and my parents are proud.
