They're stable, trustworthy allies, excellent trading partners (see CETA). Canadians share our European values and care about the environment as much as we do. They're also peaceful, down to earth, and polite. Canada itself is very tidy, modern, yet close to nature and just as safe as if you'd be walking anywhere in Europe. A most pleasant country indeed.
Can you say any of these about the rest of the Americas? Even a fraction of it? No.

Memes aside I like America. Some areas of your country are literally 3rd world tier but it's massive and there's tons of awesome mid sized cities and small towns all over.
