No apology necessary since the fud was not sincere. It was just to accumulate more lumies cheaper.

Question, how high can the price of one lumens get?

150$

Delusional

fug I've been holding XLM for a long ass time
what's happening to it?

Added to coinbase.
In use by European banks as the transfer currency of hyper ledger.
An ico of a dollar backed stellar token.
Arab approval.

you forgot the comma
1,50$

unironically publishing all the news they've been working on since winter

Note that Dubai already said they would tokenise everything with IBM.

Real world adoption. It's slowly going to overtake Ripple.

Ethereum will be for the community. Stellar with be the business variant. Bitcoin will be bitcoin.

stellar and ethereum are two very different pieces of technology. They hardly compete for a similar market

>t. xrp bagholder

I didn't say they competed with each other. But looking at it from an entrepreneur perspective, a business will want a reliable partner they can talk to. They also want backward compatible change. Which is what Stellar and Ripple offer.

While the community wants a decentralized product they can all work on. And, despite its desperate need for an update, ethereum is still that coin.

It's a bit like the difference between Windows and Linux. Both have their purpose.

Stellar is a lot closer to Bitcoin in terms of functionality than to Ethereum though.
The closest coin to XLM is probably NXT in terms of functionality.

As long as a coin or token carries information people can build their own infrastructure around it.
I think the blockchain is mostly going to be used in communication / verification between parties.

Kodak also building its payment solution on stellar. This coin has so much good news lately it's almost scary.

>going to be used in communication

I'm unironically getting spam through stellar.

Same. The first time I shat myself wondering if one of my wallets was compromised lol.

Tokenization is the other huge use-case I see emerging.
Tokenization of financial assets all on one interconnected network. Like what the internet did for data I'm seeing Stellar protocol doing with different financial assets.
Fucking crazy to watch it happen in real time and make a shit ton of money off it.

>using a , instead of a .

The issue wasn't that we weren't able to tokenize stuff before, but that everyone who offered it lacked the credibility to pull it off.

It's cool that Vitalik lets you tokenize stuff, but who the fuck is Vitalik to offer this service? He's just an individual. Even if the Ethereum foundation is behind it - who's that? A publically supported open source whatever.

Nobody is willing to funnel literally trillions of assets through a system like that (completely ignoring the fact that it's missing every performance benchmark there is).

XLM has IBM on their shoulders, and they actually *do* have the credibility to pull this off. Unironically the single best coin on the market despite not being
>muh Satoshi's vision

But, Stellar and in essence, Jed's vision was to make it like Satoshi's vision (bitcoin), but without the downfalls like mining energy and chinks controlling a bunch of asics.

To a degree this is exactly what it's doing too. Just that it has a stronger instruction set that allows you to actually build shit rather than the abomonation that BTC runs. Oh and no PoW because it's a ridiculous thing to do in software to just "burn" computing power for no gain.

For what it's worth ETH is just BTC with a instruction set that's turing complete (e.g. you can express it as programming language).

had a nice chukle, thx!

we need more of that asap

this niggercoin is given away FOR FREE

Will it dip? I wanted to add to my bag under 3400 sats but it went up instead fuck me

It is right now
I sold a good chunk at 3920sats going to rebuy soon I think.
If btc holds or goes up Stellar will likely continue to pump. Might cool off a little more but as long as btc doesn't crash majorly Stellar holds up really well
