Walk into indeed.com give it a firm handshake

By either having marketable skills or knowing the right people.

what type of situation are you in? if this is a serious question, i am sure many people and myself would be willing to give a constructive response. just lay out some cliff notes on some of the elements of your situation.

kek

>Have skill.

depends on the school you went to and if you did an internship. you did an internship at MS/Google/Amazon or another big company, right?

>dropped out of my product design A level course
>didn't realise that a degree in product design could help me in so many ways (graphic design/web design/)
>had such a narrow understanding of it all
>only realise what I did recently

You don't need a job. The golden bull run is about to begin.

also computer science was a bad choice. should have chosen computing science.

unironically this.

Do companies send recruiters to your college? Hit up some of the campus job fairs.
Race/gender bias is severely overblown, if you're not a total fuckup or in a shitty program you should be fine.

>graduate first
>go on indeed.com
>find tech jobs that you know you could do or learn that start with jr. or end in analyst
>apply

Literally nothing matters except your contacts, with contacts u can just walk in without any experience or education and they will help you and hire you

Oh they're everywhere. Especially if you're green and have six tentacles.

honestly this

This is unironically very true and sad at the same time. My father worked at a tv broadcasting company as a journalist, the guy who owns it had his son and friends in top position despite them having NO experience in that field whatsofuckingever. Nepotism is a bitch but such is the way of life

I forgot to mention. My father got an offer from another tv company promising about 2x his previous salary, the guy who owns the company that my dad worked at convinced him to stay and promised him that he'll match the salary that the other company offered him. So he stayed. Guess what happened? Guy was fucking lying straight up, he pulled some shit on my dad and kept making shit up and eventually he just said fuck it and quit.

Who else here /petty/?
>get absurd $25 an hour lowball offer from HR
>not willing to negotiate
>give her contact info to Jow Forums schizos

>other HR rep is rude during interview
>he admits to his company breaking the law during the interview by operating without a license
>report them to the state and get them shut down
If you don't want to get treated like shit, then maybe you shouldn't treat your prospective employees like shit. :^)

It's a mystery. Maybe you should just go back to sleep.

Correct
Every single job and part time jobs I've got were through contacts. Such is life

I was lucky getting a job after 1 year neet mode (was best time of my life though)

Built a nice relationship with the higher ups there.
I quit on my own after 6 months because I simply didnt like working 2 pm to 10 pm. Salary was pretty nice though. 38$ an hour as a assembly technician.

They tried to keep me there by raising my hourly wage to 40$. Still declined. Pretty decent considering I have no big education.
They told me I was a good lad and I can phone them anytime to get a job back there and a higher hourly wage too.

Feels nice knowing my wage cuckering was appreciated.
And also have something as back up when im down again.
