Looks like they’re copying and pasting LINK’s code. Even though it is open source, these idiots don't have a chance in hell of competing with Chainlink. They have been screwing up all year.
well spotted OP BTFO oracalize line 61 61 Copyright (c) 2018 SmartContract ChainLink, Ltd.
only a b grade prajeet thinks good coding works my copypasting something someone else wrote
This is very very bullish.
Andrew Jones
>70 KB JPGPathetic pajeets working at Oraclize.
This. Sad and pathetic fail beyond reason, they did not even fucking try.
Joshua Thomas
They actually want to fuck around with 4chans biggest money maker ??? Lmao. People have posted themselves blowing their head off. Now attach a monetary aspect to it. If you wanna see open source theft your gonna see Decentralized Justice
Kevin Kelly
This is actually not bad news.... lights a fire under Sergey's ass.... hurry the hell up or you loose first mover advantage
Ayden Fisher
DAPP Dev here. We've internally had debates on the oracalize and its usefulness for our application and the reliability of their RNG approach.
Somehow even we failed to spot the appropriation of Chainlink's open source code. I'll share this with my team. I imagine should the news get out more applications will jettison oracalize.
Thanks OP
Jackson Brown
>just us pool's closed nigger gon pop your floaties too sombitch woooooo
Oliver Kelly
Oraclize are going to run a LINK node or node service. It makes too much sense to ignore.
Luis James
If biz's love is so terrible that it forced Sergey into hermitage, how much more Oraclize should fear biz's hate?
Elijah Reyes
I certainly don't condone the act of violence, no matter how fragrant the breech. However, this news puts pressure on Oracalize and their visible hypocrisy against the Chainlink solution.
My personal opinion, as I cannot speak for my team, but now it makes sense for the out of nowhere attacks on Chainlink from Oracalize.
Now that it's clear they're using some of Chainlink's code (to what extent is not clear yet), but this will irreparably damage their reputation.
Should this news spread further we may see the end of Oracalize. Never would I want to piss off Jow Forums. Suicide for a project.
Lmao. Oraclize an even bigger joke than first thought.
Brayden Bell
i don't need your pooping sound effects you little monkey
Noah Peterson
I don’t either, but this is the internet. Your dealing with money and a bunch of random people. I would never start a war with Jow Forums. Who knows who the fucks on this board
Samuel Collins
>how much more Oraclize should fear biz's hate?
They have no invitation. They must pay the penalty
I'm not even sure why you're resorting to ad hominem attacks. Sure, English isn't my first language, but I can assure you I am doing more work on a daily basis to advance the blockchain agenda than you could do in 3 lifetimes. Never cut off the hand that feeds you.
Mostly all blockchain developers are immigrants. Amerifags generally don't have the intectectual capacity. And even if they do, your school systems indoctrinate you with half-truths.
John Bennett
>Oracilize makes smart contracts ubiquitous >first contract created is a hit list.
Listen to Ari Jules on epicentre talk about it. Demonization of smart contracts are going to be a real thing.
I actually couldn't wait to share the info in our communication channels.
Initial reply: "The founders are arrogant pricks anyway. It's no surprise they'd fraudulently misrepresent their ability and steal from their competitors."
You're opening up a floodgate.
Only thing you didn't quite consider OP now that I think of it:
The Ethereum backlog is bad enough as it is. Imagine the backlog which could occur if applications are scrambling for a oracle solution and Chainlink has yet to go main-net?
Isaac Jackson
Link and Oraclize are being btfo'd by other projects, and it makes sense for them to join forces.
Joseph Wilson
I'm surprised an army of spergs aren't flooding their twitter with memes and shit talk right now

Chase Perez
>So did sergey when he registered cryplets.in Look at the mx records
>pajeets have no customer service so they can only communicate on twitter lmfao the absolute state of oraclize
Carson Wright
>I'm not even sure why you're resorting to ad hominem attacks >Amerifags generally don't have the intectectual capacity. And even if they do, your school systems indoctrinate you with half-truths ???
he's an indian dapp dev. he doesn't appreciate being called pajkeet shitting on the street
John Perez
both of them won't win, because both of them are just the same old already known centralized oracles. we need a decentralized oracle for a token to make any sense. a centralized oracle like chainlink makes the token a pointless middleman act that only offers the illusion of decententralization
Adam Hall
I rest my case.
Jack Young
>chainlink >centralized pick one
Adrian Phillips
Maybe they want to be partners and migrate over to the ChainLink network in the future?
Owen Hughes
do you not know how chainlink works? it's a centralized oracle with a middleman decentralized network, but that network only proetcts the most popular oracles, anything smaller gets more and more insecure until it's too risky to use.
there's absolutely nothing decentralized about the oracle itself.
Thomas Gray
>Maybe they want to be clients and migrate over to the ChainLink network in the future?
At this point that is actually their only option or vanish
4.2 Distributing oracles Just as sources can be distributed, our ideal service ORACLE itself can be approximated as a distributed system. This is to say that instead of a single monolithic oracle node O, we can instead have a collection of n different oracle nodes fO1;O2; : : : ;Ong. Each oracle Oi contacts its own distinct set of data sources which may or may not 11 Figure 3: Requests are distributed across both oracles and data sources. This figure shows an example of such two-level distribution. overlap with those of other oracles. Oi aggregates responses from its data sources and outputs its own distinct answer Ai to a query Req. Some of these oracles may be faulty. So clearly the set of all oracles’ answers A1;A2; : : : ;An will need to be aggregated in a trustworthy way into a single, authoritative value A. But given the possibility of faulty oracles, where and how will this aggregation happen in ChainLink
>Grr I'm grumpy, ad hominem is bad >But let me use ad hominem in the same post Pls explain how that makes any sense
Julian Lee
>we're all focussing on different aspects yeah you're focusing on the centralised oracle non-market and Chainlink is focusing on steamrolling you into oblivion with a vastly superior product, lol

LINK fudders are increasingly failing the Turing test.
